Hutchie 16's have just been advised that our Scottish cup opponents have folded their team and we have a pitch booked at Peffermill Astro in Edinburgh for a 12:00pm kick off next Sun 31 Aug. Now looking for a friendly fixture and would appreciate if any team interested to get in contact with the team secretary Norrie Kerr.

Well the rumours are 'Coltswood colts' had to fold as they weren't happy at Airdire joining the west Lothian league when the west Lothian league said they were refusing Airdrie's application. So coltswood in order to join another league, had to fold. So they folded and joined the Cumbernauld league under coltswood athletic'. But I think the new team are too late to apply for this years Scottish cup.

It will be hard to find a team, maybe look at a team in the year above as well to give you a competitive game.

They weren't thrown out as they had never been in the league.

They had applied via an application, which the application was not granted on a vote. There were at least 5 teams put in complaints and at the meeting the complaints were heard and every team on every age group had to vote to either allow entry or deny entry or abstain. Think it was 60 to deny, 6 to abstain and 4 to allow.

Then they join West Lothian and Coltswood felt that strongly about Airdire joining their league that they folded so they could leave the league, "allegedly". Coltswood also did this knowing t hey would not be allowed entry into this years Scottish Cup

Airdrie's reputation has now followed them, which I only heard about from other teams experiences.

Their cheque accompanied the application and was accepted and cashed - FACT!!

Only after the league meeting were Airdrie expelled from the league - FACT!!

You are telling people to stop making up stories and only deal in facts.
Not one alleged fact that you stated above is TRUE - They are ALL FALSE.

Airdrie's application to CKDYFL was accepted and passed - FACT!!
(NO it wasn't, Airdrie's application was under review and all teams in the league had to vote on inclusion, the same went for the other teams, which were Knightswood, Pollok, Celtic BC and a few others). The league cannot just go and add teams to the league without consulting the existing teams. When Knightswood and Pollok etc.. applied the league secretary asked if there were any objections and no one objected. If a league member makes an objection then all existing teams must vote on the application. There was No objections against the other teams. Only objections were for Airdrie, that's why there was a vote. There was at least 4, I'm sure it was 5 though, objections from different teams and that's why there was a vote. (p.s. each team that objected gave reasons on the night why they did not want Airdrie to join)

( NO again, the cheque was allegedly sent back to them - John Morton, League Chairman, told the two Airdrie committee members that cheque would be sent back to them). His exact words were "Your cheque was not cashed and will be sent to you next week in the post".

The only thing I found that was not right was that Airdrie was not given a chance to defend themselves but decisions would not have changed to be honest.

You are wrong on every count, (really EVERY COUNT) - all your FACTS are wrong and that's a FACT.
Why because I can prove it when I was there and I seen/heard the FACTS for myself.

I think you should get over it as the reputation of Airdrie not good but for me, I haven't had any bad experience of them but you should be thinking that Airdrie should start making their reputation better and deal with everything in a proper and decent manor. Then I'm sure it will all get better for them and be accepted to any league instead of being given the door.

Well I can assured you that the person who assured you that the fact you stated were true are totally and utterly false.

If he has told you this then he has been telling you information that is untrue. Why is someone, obviously someone to do with Airdrie, telling you information about a league meeting and league operation when he's not involved in the league and hasn't a clue how the league operates. Even the two Airdrie representatives were asked to leave the hall while their application was discussed which means even they do not know what was said. Your believing this guy because you want to believe him. You are not looking at this objectively like most of us are.

I have nothing to gain by stating all I have done in this post.

You stated information for me and "other sweetie wife's", which makes me think you are personally calling me one.

I am not and only deal in facts, of what I know or see, been informed and also put over my own personal opinion. I have not made up one statement on this post, it is all true to my knowledge as I was there and witnessed the whole incident and saw facts/heard for myself.

I have no ill feeling towards Airdrie, you or nor do I want them to be punished as it is the boys who are effected.

I can understand you being deeply upset at comments or statements being made about your club when proof hasn't been shown but I truly feel you are going about this in the wrong way and are on damaging your teams credibility.

Looking at the posts you have added in regards to this matter is not putting Airdrie in a good light.

If my son was wanting to join another team and I was a neutral parent and after reading the posts so far there is no way on earth I would let my son be involved in Airdrie. I think you should stop it now and let it die of death and hopefully there is the sufficient changes to make Airdrie, not just a competitive/top team that they already are but a respectful team that everyone has a good word to say about.

Regarding John Morton. He is taking a sabbatical, (not resignation), which means he wants a break and may be back and I know the rest of the committee hope he comes back as do most of the coaches and committee of all the teams involved in the Cumbernauld league

His wife, who was the (2013/14) Under15s match secretary, passed away in her sleep near the end of the season while both of them were on holiday. John has kept himself busy since that dreadful time, (which he has our sympathies), but I personally think John wants a little break to gather his thoughts on what he wants to do with his time now that his life-partner has passed away.

I don't think I was lucky that I didn't vote. If I was to vote, after what I heard, I would have voted against Airdrie, FACT.

The reason I didn't vote as there was already one member of the club I'm with already there so he made his vote. (One Club - One Vote)

As I said earlier you need to take note of what is going on.

60 voted Airdrie Out- 4 abstained and - 6 voted for. (The 6 who voted 'for' stated they knew the Airdrie coaches personally and that's why they voted they should stay)

The only question is : Why are Airdrie having these problems?

is it because all other teams in all other leagues, Paisley League, Glasgow League, Cumbernauld League, West Lothian League etc... have stitched Airdrie up and are against Airdrie or just for a thought, it is actually Airdrie's own doing?

The more comments you continue to make on this post and the other posts about Airdrie is only harming them as more and more neutral people/parents/coaches do not see them in a good light and it will remain as these posts will remain. Please just try and do something productive for the team and help them get their act together.

I think Airdrie should just try and get on with this coming season, they have some big games coming up in the Regional and Scottish Cup and just let them take care of themselves, with no incident and it will show Airdrie in a good light

Hutchie 99's drawn at home to Rossvale 99's in Scottish cup.

Should be a decent game with both teams 3rd in their leagues and doing well.

Rossvale Inter are 3rd, think you have the other Rossvale. None the less, should be a great game as they have picked up some notable results including two wins against the Scottish champions. Will be a hard fought match that's for sure, good luck to both sides.
