I backed a treble with Hills at the weekend and went to collect only to be told you had voided one of the games. My treble was Dalkeith, Newtongrange and Broughty. I was told at the counter that the Broughty game had been voided. Could you please explain the reasoning for this? I am aware that the game was originally meant to be played at Edinburgh but it clearly shows on the coupon you have listed above as Broughty at home. I will be interested to hear your response after all the stick that Ladbrokes have been getting on here from yourself and various other punters. superbigal Posted August 26, 2014 Share Posted August 26, 2014 If you have 11/10 marked on your slip I expect 100% you will be paid. I have no idea what Hills Poster/original coupon priced them at. Much will depend on timing although when Hills do form a new market I am keen to know if old bets are voided or adjusted to the new price. Interestingly I am the Ladbrokes basher and my Broughty bet has also been declared void albeit I am not finished with the issue yet. If anyone can clarify if Ladbrokes created a new market I would be delighted to know. Or even if anyone attempted to back Broughty on the Ladbrokes official coupon was it rejected ? Ally9 Posted August 26, 2014 Share Posted August 26, 2014 The coupon showed Broughty at home on the screen, it was marked at 11/10 next to where I wrote Broughty and the cashier checked and verified this. I went to collect this morning and was only given £41 odds as he said the Broughty game was void. I have confirmed with Nocko any bets placed at different odds to 11/10, ie when Broughty were away from home are however void. I am somewhat perplexed that the settlers page shows void for this match though when clearly a new market was formed on Thursday (Or whenever).
