Vincent Tan CORRECT In Getting Rid Of Moody And Mackay

I know this is being discussed in Pulis' next manager thread but FFS, wow. Can't say I expected the racism, homophobia and sexism displayed by the pair. Most people went against Tan, including me. He's a bewildering man and he's still not the most screwed on, but turns out he was absolutely correct in punting the pair of them, even if it was for all the wrong reasons.

To be fair you can hear worse on a daily basis at quite lot of work places in this country, in saying that the folk at these work places usually have a point they'll reign themselves in, while these two seem to just keep going and going.

Most are not daft enough to make such comments through email or text message.

So the 'plucky British manager against the tyrannical foreign owner' story that the media always pursue isn't always the correct one. If they had appointed a good manager like Southampton did then nobody would care about Malky.

He's also chucked away a severance pursuing more money, has a managerial career ended so quickly and so disastrously?

These text messages are so mental they are actually hard to believe. They will become pariahs in the game now. Crazy.

You wonder how prevalent attitudes like these actually are? Might be a few others desperately hitting delete right now!

Next Liverpool manager, no doubt.

Joking aside, they'll be tainted by this forever and Mackay's career is fucked if he's responsible for messages like that. Hopefully after being found guilty all clubs steer clear of him rather than taint themselves by association.

Oh, Malky. His signings did seem a bit suspect at the time and he blew a load of money on some right pish. Medel was a good signing but £12 million was steep at the time I felt. The ten million on the Danish striker was laughable.
