CherryKitKat
South of Scotland League (ko3pm) Tue 19th Heston Rovers v Fleet Star - If Heston put in the same effort against Fleet as they did against Abbey Vale then this should be a solid victory for them, especially given home advantage. Fleet will be disappointed after running Edu so close at the weekend and will try not to make the same mistakes against Heston. 4-1 Friday 22nd Crichton v Heston Rovers - Dumfries derby at the High School this Friday night with Crichton hosting Heston. Matches between these two teams are notoriously very close and this should be no different. Both teams will have to battle hard to win the three points and home advantage could just see Crichton win this but Heston, especially on a 3G, will feel they are the favourites and will want to continue their rise up the table. 2-2 Saturday 23rd Abbey Vale v Dumfries YMCA - A potential close game with YMCA desperate to make their mark on the league with their first win. Abbey Vale will want to see this match through and will probably just be too strong for YMCA, especially given home advantage. 2-1 Creetown v Edusport Academy - Creetown have shown they're no mugs this season and have a couple of victories under their belt along with taking Heston and Lochar very close in the past week. Edu will be delighted with their first win and, unsure of when their French players will arrive, I'm going to predict a high scoring draw at Castlecary. 3-3 Fleet Star v Wigtown - Wigtown will be out to make up for their Scottish Cup disppointmentment and Fleet may be the ideal opposition to help raise their spirits again. The current south champions will be too strong for their opponents and could find themselves scoring quite a few goals here. 0-5 Lochar Thistle v Nithsdale Wanderers - The Lochar train goes marching on with 7 wins out of 7 so far and they are favourites here against a Nithsdale side who have been hot and cold this season but are more than capable of springing a surprise and may just have something up their sleeve on Saturday. 3-1 Newton Stewart v Mid Annandale - I believe this match may be postponed due to Scottish Cup commitments but if not, i'd fancy Newton to breeze over Mids with a 4-0 win. All the best to Newton in their replay if the match is rescheduled for Saturday. Upper Annandale v St Cuthbert Wanderers - Saints will be looking to bounce back from their tough Scottish Cup tie with a victory against Uppers in Moffat and continue to rise up the table. It certainly won't be an easy match with Moffat seeming to be a tough place to go and win and Uppers will hope to build on their win against YMCA with another 3 points here. 2-3 Views are all my own. Always great to bounce each others opinions off each other so comments are always welcomed. Centrehalf
One of their keepers played for Morton I believe, still not a great return. But whoever set it up must be enjoying life in the Bahamas. Easy money!!

info
Not John! But to clarify for you the South voted a team into the league without apparently giving them the scrutiny all other new applicants were given. There dressing rooms are a lot further from the pitch the are permissable.Stranraer Academy ground was turned down as unsuitable for that reason. They had no exclusive home pitch to play on when they were allowed in re playing Home games at Annan and Dalbeattie. They were not in the South area. Need I go on?
