Gordopolis
I'd go for: GKs McGregor Marshall Gordon (depending on how he looks in Celtic's next few games) DF Hanley Martin Robertson Hutton (good news that he's back in the picture at Villa) Bardsley Greer Whittaker Forsyth MF Fletcher Morrison Mulgrew Snodgrass Anya Bannan Maloney (not sure if he's injured at the moment?) Forrest (still think he can be a good player for us - maybe best from the bench in a game like this) FW Naismith Fletcher McCormack (depending on fitness) Rhodes/Griffiths/Martin/May (very outside possibility if he gets off to a flyer at SWeds) Overall, very happy with the goalkeeping situation. Midfield looks quite solid too. Hopefully the defence will be able to stay tight as it did in the last 5 or 6 games and most of all, i hope we can find a goalscoring edge out of that pool of forwards. Would be happier if we had Scott Brown in there too. Also, I expect WGS will select Chris Burke (though I'm not sure he's good enough to hurt Germany). Thoughts? TurbineTon
The pairing of young Robertson and Anya, against Nigeria, was quite decent. Would quite like to see that again.

I'd hope it wasn't one of those pairings that looks good against mediocre opposition then gets torn apart against the likes of Germany. I'd definitely start with both though. PrestersKTID
Good depth of squad these days. Team from that squad Mcgregor Hutton Hanley Martin Robertson Mulgrew Fletcher Morrison Snodgrass Anya Naismith We have a dilemma when Brown is back as who do you chuck out of that midfield 3? That looks like quite a strong team, with decent options coming off of the bench.

Dryhorce
Or even Matt Phillips if he starts for QPR perfect impact sub Forest is not playing with Celtic could be injured
Gordopolis
Or even Matt Phillips if he starts for QPR perfect impact sub Forest is not playing with Celtic could be injured Forrest is back (started vs St Johnstone). Philips, Bardsley, Dorrans and Bridcutt are all on the finrges IMO. I'd be happy enough with any of them, but wouldn't sacrifice any of the 23 above to let them in unless they have a really strong start to the season. Good I like wee Forest good player one of the better young ones coming through needs to play with his head up more and look for a better quality cross sometimes

We not better getting somebody in that can play defensive midfield somebody like Bridcutt if he is playing or McDonald? Also were is Charlie Adam and Bannan our two play makers?
