gretnascotty Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 Great performance by Gretna tonight, No disrespect to them boys but you couldn't have complained if we'd have got double figures we played that well, hitting the woodwork twice and having several chances cleared off the line. Front two of Anderson & Wonga getting a brace each and causing the defence constant problems with their non stopping running was a delight to see. Both going to cause a lot of problems for opposition defences this season. It will be a much changed side against Kelso on saturday but after a disappointing start i'm very much looking forward to a trip away to Whitehill in a fortnights time! Had 5/6 subs. Big McDougall that got mom in cup final against you was on bench came on at HT. We were good to be fair but 1 swallow doesn't make a summer. Charlie Posted August 14, 2014 Share Posted August 14, 2014 An interesting and slightly surprising result. I would have expected this to have been a tight affair with only a goal in it either way. Well done to Gretna maybe their season will now kick on. As has already been said , it's going to be an interesting and entertaining season with lots of twists and turns as teams push for possible promotion to the 4th tier of Scottish football.
