Queenserse
I know I'm going to get slagged off here by people who's opinion I couldn't care less about but this thread has become appalling. This woman is only trying to earn a living.
Cicero
Too true. It's hard to believe that some of these posters are living in the 21st century.
Audaces Fortuna Juvat
Why? Would prefer they remained so we can laugh at them.
Grim O'Grady
Too true. It's hard to believe that some of these posters are living in the 21st century. Just because the date on the tin is 2014, the contents are from the 1970's. Grimbo
Mr Hardy
Any managerial appointment carries a certain amount of risk as to whether it will be a success or not. A female manager would have to have happened sooner or later, with the growth of womens football surely a natural progression. It will bring added interest and draw lots of comparisons, give us all something else to talk about on P&B. Bold move by the Uni to be first to appoint a female manager, Good Luck to Shelley! Poet of the Macabre
Why don't you go back to your dumb mates in the pub who enjoy such tedious patter?
ekok
Agree some of the comments are bang out of order. Now the furore has died down , perhaps time to recognise Shelley is a very highly qualified and experienced coach, bringing a challenge to all the other Head Coaches in the league. This can only raise standards and Stirling are to be commended for this. The fact Shelley is a female is secondary to all of that. Welcome to the 21st century boys. Had a number of people ask me why Stirling have made this choice. Honest opinion is that she was probably the most qualified and best candidate- irrespective of gender. Surley that's the main thing? Was Sammy not her A licence mentor at some point? Interesting to see how their battles go as a result.

ekok
Arthur you are a disgrace to yourself and whatever team you " support" . Apart from anything else you written comments are subject to the laws of the land and you would more than deserve being served with a writ for libel . This forum is not here to promote such garbage, go have a look at yourself.
surely not!
Sure Arthur would just pass it off as 'banter'. Not sure what's worse, the statement or the fact that after five days or so that's the best he came up with.....

surely not!
Utterly shite patter, straight from second year. Suppose in a way we should be happy. There can't be many non league football forums in which jay from the inbetweeners posts his thoughts.....
