Lochore chairman attacked

Sideline

Recommended Posts

Heard tonight at today's game the lochore chairman was attacked by the lochee harp goalkeeper who punched him to the ground and when he fell he badly hit his head on the concrete. John no angel who likes a wind up and a shout at games but this is taking things to far.

di yi no think this is stupid, nobody wants violence, ave been provoked at games ,as am sure that others have, but the junior game is so brilliant why tarnish it. This is the best value for money entertainment that a have ever encountered an long may it continue!

Just been reading on the fife forum that lochee refused to call the police and the chairman refused to speak to his oppo from lochore (lochore chairman posted this) also states will be writing to the league but also stated was handbags and the keeper phoned him last night. More to follow I'm sure.

Just to clear things up about this incident - the harp goal keeper was taking a fair amount of abuse from the lochore bench and also the lochore chairman. At half time the keeper and chairman came face to face near the changing rooms - no punches were thrown from either person the keeper pushed the chairman away and he tripped on the bottom step - the police were called and no one was charged and the lochore chairman and harp keeper laughed about the situation also the keeper has been in contact with the chairman to apologise again and as far as both parties are concerned it's finished with and the two of them now see there selfs as friends so that. Hopefully squashes the rumours that punches were thrown etc .

Your no really getting any bites anymore are you (though you will no doubt include this ), maybe time to give it a rest , was a giggle at the time now your the only person going on about it, obviously struggling for some new material.

Btw you say standard for junior football, this sort of thing maybe happens two or three times a season in a grade of football with over 160 teams in it not exactly a regular occurrence and even at that it's usually grown arms and legs by the time the story comes on here but hey don't let that stop you .You can count that as another bite if you want, no doubt in your boredom your keeping track of how many you get on this site.

Mate a was at the game in lochee are a disgrace and so was the ref saying he never seen it should have been down to 9 mine even though lochore still got pumped with 11.the goalkeeper should be able to hand abuse at junior level its banter end of to lift your hands is assault and should have been charged.i quaote" ill see you after the game" been said to the chairman at about 43 mins into match resulting in him pushing or shoving the chairman the goalie then ran into his changing scared after being the big man lochee as a club have disgraced themselves for not calling police after the incident the old chairman shut the door with a cup of tea and couldnt give a toss the matter is far from finished i believe and as for being friends who are you kidding absolute shambles hopefully the sjfa sort this out but who knows what they will do.

I was at the game aswell - and I can assure u there was no ASSAULT as you keep saying it was a petty silly coming together and the player and chairman have said there peace to each other and are keeping in contact as it was blown out of proportion te abuse from the manager etc was aimed at the goalie from 17th min of the game when the manager was sent of for abusing the match official I'm not going to say anymore on it as it's clear lochore supporters have blinkers on and are acting the innocent party - looking forward to coming threw to lochore for the return leg :-) and also about we will see at Half time was also said from lochore manager and the number 8 who punched the harp number 4 in the face behind refs back but lochore are the innocent party - enough said enjoy your Sunday guys :-)
