Is the boozer next to the entrance to the shopping centre still there? It was the cheapest pub in the world and it sold El D behind the bar. Can't mind it's name. I haven't been drinking in Greenock town centre since before a 4-2 defeat in 07/08. I can't be arsed with The Norseman.

As for the game, any kind of win will do. I'm a lot less confident than I was after our results on Saturday.

It isn't. The correct approach to drinking for away fans would be to continue on to Gourock and get the train back before kick-off.

Agree with this. Just get the train to Gourock (Cafe Continental) then go up to Cartsdyke for Cappielow.

Greenock pubs are fucking shite.

:(. The Spirit Of The Clyde I believe it was called. It was my favourite worst pub.

Good shout re. Gourock. I've done The Old Bank Bar, The Waterline and The Jimmy Watt, so Gourock seems like the thing to do.

Cheers.

Match info - £15 adults, £10 concessions, under 16s £3. Main stand for the away fans 'unless they bring enough' so WDE it should be.

There will be a minute's silence before the game for our ex-Finance director Iain Brown who died on Sunday:

With results being alright - if not performances - since my last post I'm a bit more confident. Still fully expect a defeat but perhaps not an utter pumping. I'm tempting fate here but we've at least been organised in defence more often than not so can hope we won't fall to pieces. I just can't see us scoring though, unless you re-sign Hugh Murray to give us a penalty and man advantage through rampant stupidity.

Home win if Archie decides to play the defenders from FC Worzel Gummidge like he did on Saturday. Away win if the Thistle boys concentrate on their jobs for 90 minutes.
