In the Gymnastics, Purvis and Keatings are said to have medal chances in the parallel and high bars, at about half 3 to 4pm and quarter past 5 to 5:45pm respectively.

Over at Hampden we've outside prospects in the High Jump with Jayne Nisbet, and Lynsey Sharp goes in the 800m at 8:45pm.

Also various QFs for us in Badminton & Squash. Rumgay crashed-out of the Table Tennis earlier. Finally, Grace Reid made her Diving final, but has no medal prospects.

After 11 ends it's 14-5 to Scotland v England in the men's fours. Some fantastic bowling by the Scots.

Sooky, I watched most of that. Great stuff. They showed his wee boy and his missus (I assume) holding up a hand-written sign saying, "Tattie Marshall. The Lionel Messi of bowls"

If I had money I'd pay for them to go to a Barca game with a sign saying, "Lionel Messi. The Tattie Marshall of football".

Speaking of bowls it looks like Darren Burnett is about to wrap up another Scottish gold.

On the money, Naitch. Another gold in the bag for us.

Aside from the fact that we're doing relatively well hasn't this been a really enjoyable games and who'd have thought that The Weege would scrub up so well?

The largely nice weather has definitely helped that. If it was pishing down all day every day it would have put a dampener on things. Literally.

Can they not shut up about Farrah? He's not there, ffs.

Wonderful finish from Bett, the Kenyan, easing up with the arms outstretched to take the victory, pity he didn't see the Ugandan sneaking up the inside.

One of the commentators mentioned the other night about the difference between losing a gold and winning a silver, I take it that was an example of someone winning a silver,
