They're saying it will only take 6 hours and 15 minutes which is competitive with flying when you consider getting to the airport, all the hanging around before the flight and getting to the gate, and the same the other end. And instead of all the hassle you can enjoy a leisurely 5 course meal with a bottle of wine and some brandy to finish, and maybe a wee snooze. Unfortunately on the way back you'll have to stop in Lille for UK immigration. You'd have thought they could do all that on the train and just chuck the undesirables off in Lille.
