athletic 1
Another tough tie for us but hoping for a better performance than last weekend, although Hearts were very good. Hope the pitch has dried out after last weekend. Where's the best pubs to go pre match?
Shandon Par
Here's a lazy answer for you - thread on the League One board discussing pre-match watering holes etc. http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/202215-sfl2-1314-an-away-fans-guide/ Also, you'd get a good welcome at the bars/lounge at East End Park too - sometimes even get a bit of live music. In terms of traditional pre-match pubs, the Central Commercial, Old Inn, East Port Bar all tick the boxes and are all in town centre. The Elizabethan is on Halbeath Road, a bit past East End and is a popular one for away fans as it's a good one-stop big place near the ground - food, booze, sky sports, pool tables, parking. Edit - a lifetime of boozing has left me unable to remember which pubs are Dunfermline and which ones are in St Andrews

athletic 1
Cheers might just head to East End Park then. I'm staying up there Saturday night so I'm hoping there's something to celebrate after the game, maybe little bit of revenge for putting us out 3 years ago ;-)
dafcburty
Do you think we'll see many up this weekend mate? For what it is worth, I've read good things about your team and I believe Saturday will be extremely tough; you play good football and have a good squad with a mix of seasoned pros and young prospects. I'd say 3-1 last weekend vs a very good looking Hearts side is very reasonable and shows that Saturday's game won't be a walk in the park for us. What players should we look out for? We know about Kenny McKay as we tried to sign him this summer, but are there any other players who we should keep our eyes on? I see Peter Watson is suspended for you, any other players you know of who'll be missing this one through injury etc? I hope you enjoy your trip to Fife and EEP, but hopefully you're going away empty handed!
athletic 1
Didn't realise Watson is suspended that's a bit of a blow but we're not short in that position. Mackay is injured just now so you'll not see him. Carcary, Todd and Hopkirk will be our main threat really. Not really seen a settled team yet but would like to think we'll give you a decent game
