So many greeting faced, whiny bitches in the Morton support these days. Cheer up man, it might never happen! Anyway, on to the game this weekend. We may struggle to score goals without either of our recognised strikers, so hopefully Duffy pulls something out of the bag to get a striker in by the weekend, otherwise we may see defender Thomas O'Ware playing up front again! I don't know a huge amount about the Berwich squad, of course most will know Colin Cameron, who I have to admit looked done to me 2 seasons ago, but you would hope that if the likes of Bachirou, Pepper and Hands are fit to take part this week, we should have enough to see us through. While I tend to agree with your point in general, I'm more of a realist than a happy clapper. Being able to look at the situation from a distance kind of does that to you I suppose. Anyway, rumour over on the Morton forum is that we've signed one of the French strikers who have been training with us. No suggestion of names, but surely they can't be worse than Kabba Cham. I'll make this Saturday's game but if the PTC2 game is on the Tuesday then I'll be at the Killers gig. My dad has given up his season ticket and is picking and choosing this season. He hopes to make this one. Hopefully it's not as grim as the Spartans match in the sense that Berwick may actually attack from time to time. Can see it ending 1-0 either way. If we're going to make any impact tomorrow, we need to start getting the ball forward more quickly. Overpassing in the middle of the park kept allowing QP to regroup, when we should be using Lavery's pace and Russell's strength to run at defences. I expect a few changes tomorrow - Lee Currie and Notman replacing Cameron and Paul Currie, Hoskins in at left back allowing Maxwell to move forward into a midfield slot in place of Gold, and Jacobs coming in at right back. Absolutely no idea how this one will go. We pumped Spartans 3-0 at their place a couple of weeks ago but that counts for the square root of f**k all in a genuine competitive match. 4-4 bore draw. You're right we were f*cking gash but still miles better than you lot. I can't even remember you lot having a shot on target except the penalty.
