Montrose vs Falkirk

Recommended Posts

Another ground to tick off the list and terracing two weeks in a row, looking forward to it.

Alston in for Olu. Should give Rowan a run out as well. Don't think Sibbs or Duffie are going to make it. So I'd go for something like

MacDonald

Rowan Vaulks McCracken Dick

Alston Taiwo McGrandles Cooper

Shepperd Loy

Changing to 4-3-3 with Shepperd and Cooper either side of Loy.

A couple of handy trialist strikers and 7 more goals would do nicely. COYB

What did Maybury do to deserve being dropped?

Only change I'd make from last week is Alston in for Shepherd.

What pubs are best to go to pre-match? Anywhere have a decent beer garden if the weather is alright?

This'll be the first time I've seen us 'live' since the friendly at Forfar around this time last year, so looking forward to it.

With Montrose getting pumped last week, I'd expect us to win this by a few; I'll say 4-1.

British Legion is right next to LP, serves a mean pint of Tartan Special. Plenty in the centre of town, Market Bar/Picture House are popular picks, though beer gardens are thin on the ground.

Last week's horror show combined with a visiting team that rattled in 7 and John Beaton as the referee has the potential to be a catastrophe for us, I fear.

Finish work at 1 so hoping to make it up, not been up since the league cup tie about 6 years ago. Is doing the journey from falkirk in an hour and a half realistic?:

Pretty much that's how long it's going to take you

I was at that game.

Seems every Falkirk fan was crammed Into a chip shop near the ground cause everyone had come straight from work.

I believe a certain lad named Tim Krul played for Falkirk that night IIRC. Slight change in his surroundings since then.

How's the weather up in Montrose? It's absolutely pishing it down in Leven, was hoping for a nice drive up in some sunshine but doesn't look as though that'll be happening!

Market Arms is the best pub in Western Europe.
