BANKIEBILL
It was listed as an u20 side but whatever ... They were a tidy wee team so whoever coaches them is doing a fine job. Having a wee defender on football forums must help too

onemanwolfpack
To be fair don't think Accies will be too disappointed losing a friendly, they have a reputation for being through young players and this would have been a good test for the young lads at 15 and 16 who will maybe be looking to sign full time contracts in the not too distant future. Apollo King
Good result for Clydebank , Accies young guns finished 4th in the under 20 SPL league last year and have already beat Whitehill Welfare and Cumnock this pre-season . Good luck Bankies for the season ahead .
Kingjad
Performance pleased me more than result, Accies were very difficult to break down (but I felt that after we scored our 2nd goal their defence showed some cracks in it as they pushed to get back into game). We could've scored more while Accies only had one genuine chance with their goal, as they were limited to long-range attempts.
BANKIEBILL
Just young lads but not afraid to mix it with a good level Junior team and they always tried to play it on the deck. These types of game can only be good for their progress. Accies are obv investing a lot in their future ... and wish them every success.
Bankies Alive
1 x 15 year old playing 4 x 16 year old playing Clydebank 2 Accies under 17's 1 Nice try,the younger ones came on with 15 mins to go when the game was done at 2-0 going on 4 or 5. Got a goal back with their 1st real chance of the game with a couple of minutes to go with us having taken off about 6 or 7 starters off and put on a few trialists. Bul21402
If the same group of lads who played at Cumnock last week, that's a good result
RtB1998
Highlights are finally up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LG9-qn5yLIY&feature=youtu.beApologies for the big delay. I had the highlights up at 11pm but the video quality was very poor and so I took the video down, for whatever reason the rendering process caused the video to stutter and not look as sharp. Bankies Alive
can`t beleive that (some) Clydebank fans are crowing about beating what was a very young Accies team . Clydebank , IMO , are a good junior team and will do well this season The youngsters were ok against them ... Only moan I would have is that sometimes they try to play too much football (if you know what I mean )..... the future is bright......the future is ACCIES. Nobody is crowing at all, merely pointing out what actually happened for those who weren`t at the game yourself included going by your comments about playing too much football. FYI the only team who were fouling constantly and humping it long was Hamilton To be honest we`ll get a harder test against Maryhill a week on saturday. Good luck for the season ahead and good luck to the Dazzler!
passbackdave
they always tried to play it on the deck.u must've been tweeting when there number 5 hoofed the ball everytime he got it and his replacement done the same. Haha
BANKIEBILL
how dare you suggest that I dont actually watch the game I thought they did quite well ... for a young team they had us on the back foot for most of the first half without causing big Rab too many problems. Good for the likes of Walker to be playing a decent side ... but its hardly a hugely important game - other than wqhoever had the Bankies at 10/3 on the likes of PaddyPower
aldaniti
Who scored the Bankies goals, and who is playing through the middle? Is it Joe Andrew or Jordan Shelvey?
Bankies Alive
I was at the game mate....... the young ones had times when if they had moved it quicker or had a shot instead of looking to keep the ball then the move would have finished better , that is what I mean by playing too much football sometimes . wee boys constantly fouling .....the only folk moaning about it were the Clybank fans who were stood behind the home dugout in the first half (take it you were one of them) . No doubt you will get a harder test against maryhill , cause their team wont be full of youngsters and school boys . Aye right 6ft 2 wee boys Keeper that played in the 1st half must be a right retard if he`s still at school at 32 20 year old full time pros against guys who`d been at work all day and who play Junior football and they outplayed them and won pretty easily. As I said earlier the schoolboys played about the last 15 mins when the game was done but if you want to talk them up or talk us down then fire away if it makes you feel better. BANKIEBILL
Who scored the Bankies goals, and who is playing through the middle? Is it Joe Andrew or Jordan Shelvey? Jordan was carryign a knock and didnt play last night ... Joe was playing. Actually Jamie Campbell was in a pretty forward role ... Lots of changes esp in second half so difficult to keep track although I think Harvie made a welcome return. Goals scored by Tommy Martin ( smashin finish ) and Ozz McCann - near flick from a wicked Gardiner cross ...
