Looks like we stand a decent chance of gold in the athletics tonight in the women's 100m T12 Final.

Only 4 competitors and the Scottish girl has a PB a second quicker than all of the other 3.

Men's Pairs Final in the Bowls starts at 12.45 with Alex Marshall and Paul Foster going for Gold.

Now, I'm no expert, but being 10-0 up after 5 ends doesn't seem all that bad to me.

How many ends do they play in the bowls? Or is it first to a certain number of points?

They played 18 in the semi yesterday, I think.

It's a good start but it could change quickly if Malaysia were to win an end and play to their jack length. Both the Scots like to play to a shorter jack, the Malaysians to a 3/4 to full length.

Think it's 17 ends for the pairs, and it's now 12-0 after 6 ends.

You seem like a knowledgeable chap. Why do different teams sometimes use the same colour of bowls? Does that not just make it a bit confusing?

Foster is playing his best game of the tourney so far, and Marshall is also playing very well.

No shot at that end, so it's 14-0 after 8 ends.

Wee blonde who is operating the scoreboard looks quite tidy. :D

Must admit that I was surprised that teams didn't have their own coloured bowls, as happens in the indoor tourneys on TV. Instead the players are just using their own favoured bowls with red or blue stickers on them. Must be confusing as feck when you are at Kelvingrove.

I noticed that yesterday both England and Scotland were using blue and today Scotland seem to be using blue and Malaysia seem to be using a mix of yellow and blue!!

Thought it might have been like curling when one team must use red and the other yellow.
