kefc
His 1st game was against Kelty yesterday and not only did he concede 3 goals, he spat on one of our players head as our player had his back turned, absolute disgusting act.

By the sounds of things he'll fit in well at downfield then.
superbigal
Had a shut-out against Manchester City recently as well. Presumably temporary while he looks for a team.
CamelToe
Kefc - I witnessed one of your players doing this last year versus ballingry at home! Disgusting act I agree! The player is still there though!
macintosh
Keeper also had a kick out ar Cargs just after he'd gathered in a ball in the second half, which didn't go down too well with either set of supporters. How the linesman never saw it takes some understanding as he was standing straight in line with the incident? Hopefully the boy will settle down a wee bit in the weeks to come for Downfield & prove to be a good signing.
Celticloon
What's everyone's thoughts of how this league is shaping up after the first 7 or 8 games or so? Any surprises or are Downfield going to run away with it as previously predicted on here?
jimmyg
i think the teams at the the top are playing each other in the next few weeks, so i would imagine it might be a bit clearer then.

There is a word to describe this post: it begins with 's' and ends with 't' and it isn't soot.
superbigal
Saw a half of both downfield and east craigie games on Saturday. In honesty craigie impressed me more as a team. Downfield have some very good individual players but are not perhaps that strong in all positions that some think. Lots of boys from amateurs presumably enjoying the bucks on offer. Tiny Sally
Thornton hibs shaping up as possible challengers to the more fancied teams in the league, big gibby has a good squad this season n playing well so far this season. Know it's early but no many teams will fancy visiting memorial park just now. KSH toiling just now with form, judging by last years showing they would have hoped to kick on in their second season n challenge again but not so far - early days in this league though so don't count them out of contention yet. Welfare having a torrid time just now.... Enough said eh.
victor meldrew
Played Thornton in a friendly pre season, looked really good. Boy that played wide right was more than decent. They have strikers who will score goals aswell so always in with a chance.
Tiny Sally
Was that the boy Gay playing wide right mate ?' Watched him last season in a few games n he was good on the eye at times. I agree bout the front two. Chris Ireland n Stevie Leslie are different types o strikers but very good at what they bring to the games.

victor meldrew
Think it was him, Matthew? Good tricky winger, final ball was poor that day but dangerous player.

Tiny Sally
That's the boy- really quick n good feet also. IMO they have good players throughout the team n could be in the mix IF they keep key players fit, the boy maxwell n the left back are good players. -Very good IMO. I hope hibs do well this season, gibby n the committee deserve some reward for the effort they put in.
White Star
Was that the boy Gay playing wide right mate ?' Watched him last season in a few games n he was good on the eye at times. Deflect, deflect, deflect. Only c@nt playing wide is yourself, you know damn fine who he is. Why not talk about your own team Pikey?
