Wilky1878
Chelsea's upcoming season is looking amazing so far with there current squad. The only part of their squad that really needs improving is their defence and maybe another striker or two for depth. Possible starting XI Cech Ivanovic Luiz Terry Azpilicuata? Ramires Fabregas Willian Hazard Schurle Costa
Reid
Luiz will be vital for Chelsea this season, IMO.
Fraser Fyvie
Edit: Unless he means Filipe Luis (which I doubt), the left back.
gav-ffc
Matic will play more than Ramires. Luis at left back rather than good old Dave.
Ira Gaines
Yup. Matic will start every game he's fit to start.
hoopy1967
Can see Ivanovic playing less this season now Luis is there's as a LB and Azpilicueta will move back to RB

Big River
I did mean Filipe Luis, thought he was a CB Did ye aye? Their starting lineup could be something like: Courtois Azpilicueta Terry Cahill Luis Matic Oscar Fabregas Schurrle Costa Hazard With the likes of Cech, Ivanovic, Ramires and Willian as backup as well theyve certainly got the squad (and the manager) to be winning the EPL and go far in the CL too. hoopy1967
I heard Courtois was maybe doing another year out on loan. No, I think Mourinho said he was staying to compete with Cech I'll say Courtois Azpilicueta Terry Cahill Luis Matic Fabregas Oscar Willan Hazard Costa Bench - Cech, Ivanovic, Ramires, Mikel, Schurrle, Salah, Lukaku Some of the players that have been out on loan for a few years might start to break through as well this season eg Bamford, Chalobah. Especially as Lampard and Cole have gone, they'll need to fill up the homegrown spots in the squad

Ira Gaines
I don't think Schurrle will be a starter. Would be a shame if he isn't. Fear that you're probably right though, such is the depth of Chelsea's side at the moment.
Co.Down Hibee
that really is one hell of a squad they have , agree fully about Schurrle, very impressive last season and in the WC, sadly he may be viewed as a "game changing" impact player. I wonder if Lukaku will get a run in the side or will he go out again,? loaning him out was a big mistake last season.
calum_gers
Is it just me who isn't that taken by Oscar? He's good but I think Chelsea or any top four club for that matter could do better.
Ira Gaines
I put Schurrle in my dream team for the WC KNOWING he was gonna get me points. The guy is effective.

Going from Sky Sports nearing the end of last season Lukaku wanted to leave and a few weeks ago they said he was close to permanently signing for Everton. Don't know whether to believe it or not though Sky usually just talk pish and put "sky sources" at the start.

It been said that Drogba was/is Lukaku's hero, so maybe Mourinho is trying to convince him to stay. Drogba could help his development too
