Juniorbuff Posted July 23, 2014 Share Posted July 23, 2014 I know that this is a common theme every season and it seems to be discussed almost on a weekly basis, but I am hopeful that this season we might actually see some good standard of refereeing. I am not their biggest fan at times, but I do appreciate they have a hard job in the juniors. I thought id single out a few guys ive saw over the last season....one being the ref i saw tonight At the Clydebank v Cumbernauld game. Not sure who heis but have saw him a few times over the last year and he has an ability to keep his authority but at the same time seems to enjoy refereeing, having a laugh with players and just a nice guy to talk to. I met him when he did the Neilson game last season think he is in the military jobwise he mentioned, but one to watch. Another is the guy napier. I know he gets a slagging quite a bit but when ive saw him the only reason he seems to get moaned about is because he actually applies the laws of the game - in other words does his job! Anyways thought i would throw in my tuppensworth and see what others think. Early start to the season so far but if tonight's game at clydebank is to be followed, hopefully decent from the guys in the middle. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What about the military guy - any opinions? Gave a penalty against us last night (cumbernauld) but i thought he was eecent and thought the few times i've saw him that he shows an.ability to mamage players that most refs dont have..... Hertha_BJFC Posted July 24, 2014 Share Posted July 24, 2014 Craig Napier gets horror reviews by people on here but I can only go with what I've witnessed from him and he's been very good in our several games he's officiated in.
