Best ice cream I've had for a while was in that wee stall in the centre at Livingston, working in the centre gets me 20% off also! Hazelnut flavour is to die for. Was along in St. Andrews a couple of weeks ago, and Janettas was pretty decent as well.

Warm weather seems pretty settled, so sales of ice cream will be on the up.

I went to The Milk Barn, Ice Cream Parlour just outside Falkirk on Saturday ,which served the best ice cream I've tasted in this country.

Any other contenders?

Yeah, been in a couple of times, pretty good.

Dino's in Greenock...expensive, but fab.

Esplanade Cafe in Greenock for me especially their Tablet* Ice Cream

*Sugary confection not pharmaceutical dosage form

There was a wee chippy near Greenock West that used to sell some outstanding Ice Cream, I think Orangefield? Can't remember for sure if that was the name.

The [insert name of Italian cafe near where I grew up]. I've not tasted 90% of the other ones on this thread, but can confidently say, albeit without any proof, or indeed a great deal of time thinking about Ice Cream that it is better than the stuff from the [insert name of Italian cafe near where you grew up].
