So, when did Alloa change their badge to this?!?

To be fair, Rovers 'is hardly superb, a lion holding a computer mouse. What's the story behind the Dumbarton's? Been a long pre-season...

Our badge is wonderful, the elephant symbolises the rock which apparently with the correct amount of acid taken resembles Nellie. Never taken the correct type so it looks like a rock to me but the badge looks pretty awesome.

Alloa's is not only pretty rotten it's also used in a Uni in America I think, sure someone posted on here a wee while ago about it.

I quite like QOS badge, simple yet classy and old fashioned, outwith our league Ayr and East Fife have quite nice badges. Always like a Saltire on a badge.

Remember this guy after the Rovers changed their badge?

Football fan Norman Brindley took team loyalty tat-too far when he had his heroes' badge emblazoned across his heart.

Raith Rovers-daft Norman got the needle just days later when the club announced they were changing their crest.

Norman, 22, had the Rovers badge tattooed on his heart so he could feel close to the team while he was at sea with the Royal Navy.

But within a few days the club decided to change their logo for the first time in 10 years.

Distraught Norman, from

Kirkcaldy, Fife, found it hard to see the point, but said: "I suppose it's just one of those things."

He spent an agonising 90 minutes under the needle to have the crest inked on to his skin.

And Norman, left, swears he wouldn't go through it again.

He said: "The crest will probably change every few years now and I don't fancy 15 tattoos of Rovers badges all over me. Anyway it still says Raith Rovers on it and that's what is important."

There's only one consolation for Norman, who's been going to Raith Rovers games since he was three - he's won a special guest invitation from club boss Jimmy Nichol for next week's match against Stirling Albion.

Norman had the adventurous tattoo done while on leave in Portsmouth after hearing of other sailors with Manchester United and Liverpool crests on their skin.

He added: "It's another way of getting the Rovers world-wide fame. I know they won't get it the way they play."

The tattoo was copied from the badge on a Raith Rovers shirt Norman takes with him everywhere.

Even nis dad wears the club crest on a gold chain around his neck.

Beautiful.

Viewed from Levengrove Park, a vague elephant shape can be seen. Alcohol and/or drugs help though. Natural erosion has occurred to be fair, to the tusks.

Best viewed from the other side of the river, coming down the A8 Westbound.

Stealing your badge from some two-bit American university is amazing.

Quite like Dumbo-ton's too.

Here, only the Cowdenbeath fans can refer to us as Dumbo.
