Scottish cup medal - linesman?

Okay, so heres the story. Recently bought a medal from auction as I quite liked the history attached to it. It's a 9ct gold scottish cup final linesman medal from 1988-89. It was bought as a spur of the moment sort of thing but now wondering if theres any value attached to this sort of thing? Anyone seen anything similar in the past (linesman especially), and remembered how much it went for? Or will I hold off on the round the world trip for now?

Thanks for the replies so far, much appreciated. Seen quite a few player medals but never a linesman, does this make it more valuable or less as a player's one is surely more desired? Even if its worth nothing its still a nice looking piece and theres still a fair chunk of 9ct gold anyhow
