What happens after a NO?

Going by all the polls, it seems we're going to get a no.

What happens after? How do the 20-50% of the nation who voted yes react?

Will it become a bitter nation full of resentment as soon as any cuts are enforced upon us?

Thoughts? Genuinely interested in what happens. I know how I will feel.

People will get on with their lives. Same as will happen if it's a Yes vote.

Its really not that important.

Apart from the tiny tears temper tantrums from the idiot Nat types, which will be short lived.

The SNP already know there is going to be a No vote. I don't think it will worry them unduly. They'll win the next Scottish election then Salmond will step down shortly after to allow sturgeon a few years of power will be my prediction.

The SNP will be well prepared for it after their Yes campaign has failed to build any momentum. They probably realised around March time the battle was lost. Salmond will spin the result so that he comes out positively. He's very charismatic as seen by the number of brain dead numpties he's got jumping to his beat, so he'll go on being popular to his fans.

I think there will be more powers, probably not significant ones, just small things that Westminster MPs can't be arsed with anyway.

I think it would basically be business as usual, save for a few "toys-out-the-pram" fuckwits

BT lies for years. Shite 'Britishness' promoted. Tory governments.

You really have got a bizarre Tory obsession.

You are aware that they will lose the next election aren't you?

Does Cornwall have a parliament?

No. Thanks for pointing that out actually. A person in Cornwall, and me actually, has LESS say than you. You have a 1/3'500'000 say on many issues and a 1/45'000'000 say on some other issues. For me and a Cornwall person, it's pretty much a 1/45'000'000 say on everything.

In no way can you claim to be hard done by compared to a man from Cornwall.

More austerity measures

More economic drain heading to London, supported more and more by high speed rail links to the detriment of Scotland

More billions spent on nukes based in Scotland

Even more billions borrowed to upgrade these nukes

More toxic waster allowed into Loch Long from these nukes

More paedophile scandal from a disintegrating social hierarchy that people don't do anything about cos they really think it's acceptable for the country to be run by kiddie fiddlers

And the death of the NHS

More austerity. Erosion of Scottish parliament powers. Cut in Barnet Formula. Higher Taxes in Scotland. Less public spending. Cut in NHS spending leading to privatisation. Cut in Police numbers leading to higher crime rates. Nuclear power stations. Embarrassment on a world stage admitting we can't run our own affairs.

Confi is the head cheerleader for the REAL project fear. In a way it's quite anti English

I've told you before Scrappy Doo.

Sit down and be quiet.

Don't make me give you a punishment exercise. One more outburst and you're straight to the head's office.
