It hardly seems a year has gone by since the last Ronnie Swan Trophy was being handed out to the winners!

A terrific weekend festival of football is on offer at Ainslie Park as this years Finalists are...

  1. Dunfermline Athletic.
  2. Falkirk.

  3. Livingston.

  4. Spartans.

Saturday sees the 1pm ko

of Team 1 vs Team 3

Whilst the 3pm ko is

Team 2 vs Team 4.

The winner of each section will then play in the final on Sunday 3pm ko

The loser of each section will battle it out for 3rd & 4th place on Sunday at 1pm.

There will be a bumper programme available (in full colour) at the unique (unless you are an e-City fan) of £2.00

The cafe bar will be open serving excellent food & drinks.

Day ticket prices are £5/£3, so the earlier you come the more money you'll spend in the cafe bar the cheaper it'll be, you'll get 2 matches for the price of 1. That's right you come at 12 o'clock & you buy one you'll get one free, I said you buy one you get one free, mind it has to be the matches on the same day, the ticket is not transferable.

I of course will be in attendence & am availble for your pleasure (keep it legal boys) for nowt! Bargain of the day.

Now I've had a word with the big man up there (& I'm not talking about the Golden One up at Rosewell) & the weather is going to be cracking the flags, so don't forget to bring the suntan lotion & a cap, special Spartans gumby hats will be available (at not much cost but bring a few extra quid, you never know eh?).

If you know me come & say hello, if you don't know me, I'm the one dressed in the big Squirrel costume, "Sparry".

Looking forward to seeing you all over the weekend!

Maybe on 2nd thoughts Sparry will be left in the wardrobe with the lion & the witch.

The Cycho's are in negotiation about sponsoring Rocky Grant but 1st we need to joust with some other big hitters that are vying for the honour.

See you at ringside Messi.

Hope it's all going well. Falkirk didn't plan on sending any first team players.........just the U20s (but maybe that will change). Having said that, I hope it all goes well for those who turn up.
