invergowrie arab
Utter Shite would be my guess. Simpson's was amazing for about 5 of its 127 series.
Mr. Mojo Risin'
It's feasible, both are created by Fox. ETA: I only think it would go ahead if they were desperate.
Bert Raccoon
It's feasible, both are created by Fox. ETA: I only think it would go ahead if they were desperate. So it's a definite then.
Dunning1874
It will of course be complete and utter shite. Both of them should have been taken out the back and put out of their misery several years ago.
Ira Gaines
I thought it was due to air in September as part of the fall schedule? Where are you seeing it's airing on Sunday? EDIT: Oh, so it's no real source then. Nothing to see here.
TheCelt67
Apparently The Simpsons creators were none too please about this, so if the crossover is true, just shows how desperate they have become.
Ludo*1
The Simpsons is watchable television. It's not cutting edge or brilliant these days, but it's the perfect programme for putting on just for background noise and being able to dibble in and out as you're busy. Should never be cancelled. It might only get worse, but there is so much worse out there, just look at BBC3.
Bully Wee Villa
Simpsons is rubbish now. I don't blame them too much, US shows are expected to run at about thirty episodes a year... it's pretty difficult to be really funny for that long. I'd like them to take a couple of years out, write some brilliant scripts and then come back for a final ever series but it's way too successful, financially, for that to happen. Family Guy is ok, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it. My girlfriend likes it so I watch the odd episode. I'll probably watch the crossover just so that I can moan about it afterwards. Border Reiver
I used to love The Simpsons, but now hardly bother. You can tell now that the makers are simply going through the motions the shows get less entertaining as the couch gag gets longer.
mizfit
The 1st 9 or so Simpsons series were fantastic. They died after that however. Now they seem to be acting like a less offensive family guy. Homer as an astronaut is still one of my favourite moments :lol
Sherrif John Bunnell
It makes me sad that there are now many more bad episodes of the Simpsons that there are good ones. It's still the greatest TV show of all time though.

superwellfan
There's been few things TV wise that have nearly made me pish myself with laughter over the years, but the first time I watched Family Guy seasons 1-5 all the way through did just that. Really not interested in anything after that though. Peter has just become really annoying and they also seem to try and hold your hand through every joke. That 'bird is the word' episode or whatever it's called really sticks out for me as epitomising how crap it became. By the same token though, I'm sure if I was 14 again and the first Family Guy seasons I saw were 6-13 then I'm sure I'd find it entertaining. Maybe it's just an age thing. Ludo*1
I've never found The Simpsons to be particularly funny per se, in fact, I used to slag an older family member for laughing out loud at The Simpsons as if he was some kind of knuckle dragger when I was young. That said, I find it the easiest to have on as background and I like it better than I ever did Family Guy, American Dad and possibly South Park. Family Guy has raised some chuckles out of me but I don't think it's a great show or ever has been really. American Dad can have some right duds. South Park did make me laugh quite a bit when I used to watch that. Futurama was another that was decent. The king of all cartoon shows aimed at the whole family though was of course, King of the Hill.
DA Baracus
King Of The Hill was boring and unfunny as f**k. The Simpsons used to be incredible. The first couple of series were average at best but after that they went on a run of astonishingly good episodes for quite a few years. It was brilliant writing and often smart (SMRT) so don't know where someone would get that it was a stupid show from. Sadly it ran out of gas so to speak, but for a while it was easily the best thing on TV. The first 3 series of Family Guy are incredible. A few have been on BBC3 recently and I forgot just how hilarious and creative it was. Series 4 and 5 were good too but after that the quality really dipped, although it still has it's moments. NotThePars
I prefer Family Guy's later series (around 5-9) but by its very concept it's going to be very hit and miss. I don't think American Dad gets enough credit though. It's a really good show.
