(no spoilers here)

Watched it last night.

It's a beauty. Quality acting, intriguing and mysterious plot and i'm loving the 'not quite' post-apocalyptic feel to it.

Also, Justin Thereoux (i've likely spelt that incorrectly) seems like he can be a great leading man.

I got to say the 1st episode failed to hook me.

Had read a lot of good things about it the past few weeks but found it seemed to drag on a little.
Will certainly give it a few more episodes but unlike Redsky I was disapointed by the opening hour

Will probably keep with this, it is only 8 episodes I think, but really theres not a lot going on to grab me, hope it all gets wrapped up in this first season as I would be very surprised if it gets renewed!!!

I've been completely captivated by Garvey and the plot with the "mystery man". You just know The Guilty Remnant is going somewhere not very good as well.

Aimee and Jill seem to be putting themselves into some hot water as well. I think there's enough strands to grab to keep me going.

The Jamison character is one that I wasn't really into yet, so when it became clear he was gonna be the focus, I just kinda thought to myself "ah shit", but then as the episode went on, I got more and more invested in it, to the point that I was wanting it to all come up Milhouse for him.

One thing I don't get. Early doors he seemed really bothered by not being taken in the rapture. Surely he KNOWS it was the gambling that did it to him?

I didn't find him overly interesting to start with either.

When he screamed in his car after bashing a guy's head in, I was just crudely lovin it!

I loved the irony at the end of trying to help one of the GR, only to have them take everything that matters from him doing so. His stare down with the leader was class.

On the last bit, I think the message is in the title. Two boats and a helicopter sounds like the Two boats and lifeguard story where a man stood at the top of his house in the middle of a flood stranded, being offered help by people only to turn them down claiming 'god would save him', only to find out that was what he trying to do when he dies.

Finally got round to watching episode 3 and have to admit it was very good and it probably has wetted my appetite to watch a bit more!!!

Have to say though the idea is in my head that it was so good because it was basically an Ecclestone showcase and didn't feature the other characters that much, if at all, and he was superb in it!!!

We'll see what episode 4 brings!!!

Really really enjoying this and up to date now.

Episode 3 - The Christopher Eccleston focused one was a fantastic episode of TV I thought from start to finish and one of the best single episodes of TV I have seen this year.

Was really shocked in episode 5 by

the graphic footage of the woman getting rocks chucked at her. That was tough watching. Brutal. No idea who it was either.

Also like the way they have a character centric episode every few episodes.Gives the viewer a better understanding of their past and story. Lindelof did the same with Lost as well.

Oh and the Soundtrack is great

(no spoilers here, being suitably vague)

I was absolutely stunned by that opening few minutes. Paused it to take a call and my pal asked if everything was alright... no, it's not mate, I have just watched some unexpectedly bruuuuuutal television.

I'm glued to the TV with this show.

Am watching it, and will probably watch it until the end of the Season at least, but can anyone tell me, what the actual f**k is going on???

Is this just going to be "character-centric" Plays For Today, or is it all going somewhere???

Have to say though as good as Cheistopher Ecclestone was in his solo adventure/episode, Scott Glenn is the best one in it!!!
