For me it's hard to look past this one from There Will Be Blood, which I only saw recently. Wouldn't call it my one of my very favourite films, but if ever a film was all about one scene it's this (spoilers from here on in): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UejQlR-P9E If anyone watched that scene on its own it would just look like two men yelping at each other, but in the context of the film it's superb. From the moment Plainview gets humiliated in the church by Eli, as well as the scene where he declares that he hates people, you know something is going fucking down. It all comes down to this scene and you're waiting for something to happen, but between the way he manipulates him (tricking him in to admitting he's living a lie as well as the story about his brother making a fortune, which is clearly made up as he tells a similiar story about someone else before), tells him he's screwed him over and takes great pleasure in doing so, bullies him to really insert his dominance, and then still feels the need to murder him, and you realise he's one of the most evil characters in film history. Throw in some of the most quotable lines ever, "I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE", "DRAIIIINAGE" and you have one belter of a scene. Over to the good people of PnB for your best #scenes.
