Non-existant !

Spain Park is in an area of car showrooms, supermarkets, Halfords etc.

Best to head into Aberdeen city centre.

Be aware that Aberdeen FC have a home game (v Ross Co. 3pm KO) so many of the pubs will be busy with those pre-match drinkers.

Spain Park is on the Torry side of the River Dee and there are some bars in Torry (not really within walking distance though). Haven't been in a Torry bar in years but my understanding is that they may be a bit rough and basic but cheerful and welcoming.

The only two I can think of are The White Cockade and Campbell's ( formerly the 19th Hole).

I agree with LeedsPhil. There would be better bars in the Ferryhill area (Ferryhill Tavern, Ferryhill House Hotel) then it is only a couple of minutes across the Dee by bus.

Mind you I am no expert on Aberdeen pubs!

As mentioned not a lot in the area . Closest would prob be the langdykes in cove or the Wellington hotel .

Langdykes is a long way from Spain Park.

The Wellington is now aimed at the family dining market.

But wherever you go pre-match, don't stay in there until the last minute :

Culter's website now CONFIRMS the switch of venue, but also says capacity is reduced to 300 due to works at Spain Park, so the 301st to arrive ain't getting in.

I assume there is very little chance of Culter being playable?

Could be interesting then as would expect the Rose to bring 200 - 3 buses (including team) and a 30 seater already coming plus we always have a good number of cars who travel independently.

At the moment the pitch is covered in 2" in snow n still frozen underneath so no chance at Culter .

300 limit? That must be some kind of joke, they expect linlithgow supporters to travel that distance with the possibility they might not get in! Aye that's a great idea! Not!!!

Culter have not played on their own pitch since December.think spey valley is even longer

15th of November was the last game at Crombie

Superbigal - why is it special treatment? I'm sure if these clubs requested a move it could be done. Whats the alternative? Leave it til next week and try again? Culter are already 7 games behind

short notice ? culters park has been fvcked for months with no let up in weather to add to their problems.did they just get told that there was a three hundred limit yesterday ? did they book the pitch over the phone and banks o dee forgot to mention the building works and capacity had been cut ? fvckin doubt it.i lay all the blame for this at culters door im afraid.

Yes but according to Tom Jobbystain on the suspension thread you can't do anything that compromises the holy grail.

All I am pointing out is that the Culter and Spey Valley matches have not been postponed any more times than Hurlford v Bon'ess etc.

I think it's great that matches are switched when everyone is in agreement.

Just pitching the why not anyone in central regions as yet.

Would you think any pressure will be brought on Camelon, Hurlford and Newtongrange who all have inter regional ties if their matches are off on Saturday.
