It's a joke so close to the games and the draw not even done yet.

It's still over a month away to the games!

Is it still a joke further into the competition when the rounds are less than a month apart?

Obviously still rooting around for sponsors. Wayne Rooney's wages for a week would probably get his name on all three cup competitions as main sponsor, that's how bad things are. Absolutely astonished that the all-new SPFL mean machine haven't lined up loadsa lucrative sponsorship deals. Ach, that's a lie.

I think I saw on the BBC newspaper gossip page a few days ago that the SPFL have recruited Southampton FC's commercial man? There was a quote, of some kind, saying both he (think his name was Scott Seemer or similar) and Doncaster were confident of securing new deals.

Also recall there was also something a few days ago about Ramsdens and the SPFL not being able to agree price for an extension on the Challenge Cup.

Don't agree with this cup being seeded or any other cup for that matter. It makes it very difficult for any 3rd division team to get a decent draw, make a run in cup and make some money.

Cups are better when it is a free draw without seeding and its all loaded forthe top SPFL clubs, This cup is almost as hard for the diddy teams as Scotland s teams chances of getting into champions league group format or Europa league section matches
