When was the last time someone won it 3 times in a row? I can't really see past Bayern tbh. Dortmund should finish 2nd again, although if Schalke can find some consistency they could be in with a shout. Leverkusen will have to improve dramatically if they are to finish top 4, but I think they will.

Below that, it's pretty tough to call. Wolfsburg seem to have a bit of money and I think are best equipped to challenge the top 4. It's all up in the air at Mainz. I have no idea what's going on with Tuchel.

I can see Cologne doing well, I don't know much about them but they have some experienced players at this level. Paderborn I know nothing about so can't really comment. I think Bremen might go. They have a lot of absolute shite and were very uninspiring last year. Unfortunately I think Hamburg will probably stay up.

And to answer my earlier question, Bayern did it between 1999-2001, which is actually more recently than I thought. So come on Dortmund/Leverkusen/Paderborn or whoever (except Hamburg). Even a title race would be nice.

Agree with most of what you say; Schalke could challenge, but only if they hold onto or adequately replace Draxler and, to a lesser extent, Meyer. Losing and gaining Lewandowski will weaken Dortmund and strength Bayern a lot, respectively, and whether Dortmund are successful or not next season depends on how Klopp replaces him - that and a bit of luck with injuries, something they've not had this year. I can't see Bayern not winning it, but, like yourself, I hope there's at least something resembling a challenge.

Schalke actually have the makings of a good team, especially with abundance of quality youngsters coming through, but the manager is useless and they wont make sufficient progress unless they make the change of coach.

Immobile has signed for Dortmund for around £15m.

Can't say I've seen him but must be ok if he scored over 20 goals in Serie A last season.

He's really good. Seen him a few times against the better teams on BTSport. Classic number 9 IMO. He'll be able to play the lone striker role too a good level.

Augsburg have strengthened their attacking options by signing no fewer than 5 new strikers, in addition to central midfielder Markus Feulner from Nürnberg. They'll need to do very well to emulate their success of last season, and have lost Andre Hahn to Mönchengladbach who was a driving force last season.

Looking forward to seeing them in their opening home game against Dortmund, after finding out today that my company managed to pick up tickets for a couple of colleagues and myself :thumsup2

All the transfers so far listed in the link. Hoffenheim have made some good signing, so I expect them to do well again. Hannover seem to be trying to get relegated by selling their best players.

Reading that one thing that gets me is how many transfers are within the league.

You've got teams getting players from other leagues but the majority is within the Bundesliga.

Did Notts Forest really pay £1.5 million for Michael Mancienne? He is absolutely rotten, but I suppose Pearce will know what to expect from him, given he made him under 21s captain for England.

He always said that if he didn't make the England senior squad by the time he turned 25 that he would go any play for the Seychelles, where his parents are from. He's 26 now, he has no chance of playing for England, so what's holding him back?

Hello! If you want to read a very brief preview of this year's Bundesliga then I have written one and I would love it if people gave it wee look and provided any feedback, comments, criticisms etc. Cheers! also if there are any errors in the spellings of players and teams (bloody German long words!) then let me know.

Thanks
