energyzone
Naw naw you can't do that mate . Back in 2005-06 you had 9 central sides (Lok , lie, johnstone, larkhall, renfrew, shotts, kilsyth, bellshil, maryhill ) and 3 ayrshire ( talbot , glens and cumnock ) in the premier league and it didn't get changed then . Currently you have 8 definite ayrshire and 3 and a half central sides , The Roy being the half . What the hell happened to them all?!

Two Ayrshire teams in the west of Scotland cup and Scottish cup finals and talbot and Troon winning the super premier and super first division respectively. Ayrshire junior football is going through a very good period and let it continue.
RobRoyGuy
Let's get this right it's not ayrshire producing loads of great footballers. It's ayrshire paying more money and having better set ups than most central teams. That's how they attract the best players from outwith the area. Just making the point that most of the players are from the central belt thus starving the Central clubs the talent , if they choose to go to ayrshire for money and better set up fair enough. It won't last forever , just like the Central teams dominating the premier didn't last long in the mid 00's

Wouldn't you agree that this makes you look rather stupid?
juniorlegend
The only reason Ayrshire is ruling the roost is because most of the clubs have money down there and the west can't compete. Big players going down Ayrshire for big dough. Sjfa should have a cap on wages in junior football ridiculous teams paying players £200+ it gives smaller teams no chance of progressing. Just my opinion on the matter.
Reidy7
The Top players want to go to Talbot, Cumnock n Glenafton etc because of the history and fan base of these clubs. They may well get well paid but IMO it's the clubs they play for which is the decisive factor. Pollok n Rob Roy have paid the big wages too over the last 5 years but none of them have the stature of Talbot,Cumnock or Glenafton.
Hertha_BJFC
There are loads of Ayrshire guys who have travelled up to the central belt to play top central based outfits . I mean were pollok fans spewing when Gavin friels ( from Dalry in Ayrshire) and Darren Stewart ( from beith in Ayrshire ) turned it in for them. ? Of course not and where you bide from has no relevance whatsoever , ability is the number one issue.

It's the same throughout the world.
energyzone
My predictions:- 1. Hurlford 2. Auchinleck 3. Irvine Meadow 4. Kilbirnie 5. Clydebank 6. Troon 7. Petershill 8. Beith 9. Cumnock 10.Glenafton 11.Arthurlie 12.Rob Roy I fully expect every one of these to be wrong.

Well said and Let's strip man city of premiership wins mate as there weren't many who can be classed as proper mancunians who have ever indulged in an episode of coronation street whilst chewing popcorn. . A stripped down fact is Upon goals scored Man city with only English players scoring would have been relegated this season FACT. Man city were ultimately premiership title winners . A MORE IMPORTANT FACT.

A MORE IMPORTANT FACT. Maybe they should have their wages capped at £200 a week. It's making a mockery of the game!! One more thing. With the A77 going right through Ayrshire, it's now quicker for a lot of players to get to Ayrshire than it is to get to some teams in the old Central regions.
