BerwickMad
Yes, its far too early, but how do you think the league will end up looking this time next year? At least we can take the piss out of ourselves if we get things ridiculously wrong. Personally, I don't think the league is missing much in losing the incredibly dull Stirling Albion, or Peterhead in all honesty. Playing Arbroath and East Fife is far more interesting. East Fife replacing Stirling should spice things up at the top of the league too. Stirling were pretty shit and have lucked their way to promotion, where as East Fife should be stronger than they were ever going to be next season. I think 6 clubs will be fancying their chances of promotion. I think there's an obvious 'big four' shaping up in East Fife, Arbroath, Clyde and obviously us under Cameron. I fancy our chances if we get recruitment right. Following the big four, I think we're looking at Albion Rovers and Annan, followed by Elgin who surely can't be as bad as last season. Queens Park certainly won't be as bad so I can see Elgin and them scrapping for 7th and 8th. Unfortunately for Montrose and Shire, I think poor managerial appointments will see them scrapping at the bottom with one of them facing relegation and oblivion. My prediction: 1. East Fife, 2. Berwick Rangers, 3. Arbroath, 4. Clyde, 5. Albion Rovers, 6. Annan Athletic, 7. Elgin City, 8. Queens Park, 9. Montrose, 10. East Stirling. I know it's early, but thats the whole point. We could have another shot at predictions after pre-season is over.
the_bully_wee
Queen's Park finishing 8th and 10th? Really, really hard to tell on our count. If we keep everyone currently signed and add players of a similar quality then I can't see us making the play-offs, but with a good striker and creative central midfielder we may make them. 1. East Fife 2. Arbroath 3. Berwick 4. Albion Rovers 5. Clyde 6. Annan 7. East Stirlingshire 8. Montrose 9. Queen's Park 10. Elgin

an86
No way of saying until we see what the squads are going to be like. Even then, I don't expect to know an awful lot about the lads coming in. I'm fairly confident that McPherson has the nous and experience to keep us away from the trapdoor, but I think it would be unrealistic to expect anything more than mid-table comfort. Very rare for a team who finished stone last to suddenly become world beaters the next season.

Ray Vaughn
I predict Berwick will still be moaning about Scottish Refs and still at breaking point over the recent result from Forthbank.
BerwickMad
I predict Berwick will still be moaning about Scottish Refs and still at breaking point over the recent result from Forthbank. And you'll keep desperately trying to sweep your lucky break (Walshy) under the carpet for ever more. Just enjoy your unexpected promotion and don't worry about us. The Stirling fans launching bitter barbs arounds despite promotion says it all about your club in all honesty. At least Jake has an excuse being a 'wean'. Gordon EF
We've been away for a while so don't know much about a lot of the teams. Abroath Berwick East Fife Annan Clyde ----------------------------- Albion Rovers Montrose Elgin Shire ----------------------------- QP Feel like the top 5 there could be in any order. 6th to 9th could be any order and QP would be doing very well not to go onto that relegation play-off. Could be a great league next year with no outstanding favourite at this stage.
