I've not been to any of our Euro away games but I've decided to change that this year. Was going to go last year but we got that stupid Russian mob. This majestic run of getting into Europe can't go on forever so getting my arse in gear this summer.

Would love a Scandinavian trip but please not a repeat of last year's draw.

ooooft. Bring it on.

Hopefully i get to use Euros left over from Athens trip to watch us play Panathanaikos in the Olympic stadium.

Hope we get a decent draw this year. :thumsup2:thumsup2

Hopefully a trip to Gibraltar or at least closer to home than Russia again. Amazing to think we are in this position and still playing for 2nd after losing almost our full first team last summer.

I have managed to get along too:

Mypa 47 - Finland

Nancy - France

Llanelli - Wales

Steaue Bucharest - Romania

Breidlablik - Iceland

Odense - Denmark

Panathanakios - Greece

Like many would have gone last year. Kuban being only 1 of 3 teams out of 29 i was not travelling too.

like many Well fans expect this to come to an abrupt end, but will enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Well done and good luck and hope you reach the group stages at least. :)

I will probably take both my two wee nephews to a European home tie seeing as they have ST's at Firpark already. :thumsup2

Will be hoping for a Welsh/Irish team in the early rounds as my funds will probably not stretch any further.

A superb achievement for Motherwell. 6 seasons out of the last 7. Could this be the one where we finally make the group stages?

Group stages? I'd be delighted if we managed a fucking goal.

It's been about four years!

Goals are like buses, you wait for fucking ages for one then along comes three of them.

This will be our year!

The advantage we will hopefully have is that we should have a similar team to start the European games that finished the previous season.

The likes of Hammell, McManus, Ramsden, Lasley, Vigurs, Sutton, Anier, McFadden would line-up, all with previous Euro experience.

I'd imagine a new centre-half and possibly a goalkeeper? Certainly makes a change from the last couple of seasons where we've had to thrown in a new team.

Valencia, Nancy, Bucharest, Dortmund, Athens, Odense, Reykjavik - I've been on some amazing trips over the years and I can't wait for next season. Last year was a massive anti-climax as the trip to Krasnador was a step too far in terms of time and money for what was always likely to be a dead game - so somewhere accessible this year please.

I've said it before but Nancy was the archetype for a european trip - nice place, close and a huge variety of ways to get there that suited most people's budgets. Andorra, Gibralter or San Marino would be nice - for a first game :) The Baltics would be a close second choice for me....

After a run of games where were outclassed completely by the level (and budget) of the opposition, it would be nice to get some peer group clubs or ones below us in the rankings this time as it seems bizarre to say it - but we need to get some buzz back around the european games after so many qualifications.

I don't think Nancy will be beaten. It was an unbelievable trip with an extraordinary number of fans travelling! So good I can't remember it! :cheers:thumsup2

ETA: I don't really remember any trips (or games). My goal for this year (and any futures trips) is to try and be sober(ish) for the games

Very true. I went to the away games against Nancy, Llanelli & Levante and I wasn't sober at any of them.

Granted I wasn't the worst, but I was still well gone. I think the worst could be Mitch's effort in Nancy...

I rank Dortmund just slightly ahead of Nancy as there was a good number of 'Well fans there and we played brilliantly against a world-class team - but Nancy was amazing. I loved the fact that as pretty much our entire "core" support was there - everyone was running into people they knew and it made it a brilliant friendly atmosphere. The singing at the game was superb as well - I remember the Nancy fans applauding on the way out. And there were some utter casualties there that would never have got into a game here :)

Levante or Odense was the most pished I've been at a european game - Panathinaikos was the least as it was too hot for me to be into it at all.....

I've only been to Levante, but I loved it. Great atmosphere and went absolutely mental when we scored that offside goal, so at least got to cheer a goal, wasn't til later I realised it didn't count

Have a quick look at who we might get here https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=4FE4712A1E3EA4FA!156&ithint=file%2c.xls&app=Excel&authkey=!APYjeAAn075dSR0

Some nice trips there if we don't manage to pip Aberdeen to 2nd, some b*****ds too though. Also, our coefficient has shot up so much cause of the last few years, we only need 5 upsets to get seeded for q3.
