I'd never seen it until about 6 weeks ago when the Asian girl getting raped story developed. I thought it was portrayed well, I must say, through to the perpetrator getting his comeuppance. Haven't seen it since, mind.

it just goes to overboard its like waterloo road in one school day there can be a stabbing , a teacher dies , a gang fight in the pe hall resulting in mass casulaties , a group of teachers and students caught in a drug fuelled sex orgy and then some teacher threatening to jump of the roof over his classes dodgy performance, but low and behold they are in at the assembly hall the next day with the ht announcing the janny's retirement like nothing has happened.

Any possibilities River City had were binned when they looked to Eastenders for inspiration and decided to fill it with gangsters, police and all the rubbish that surrounds it. With the impressive set they have there is potential for a really interesting, amusing social drama, but it doesn't look like happening unless there is a radical change of approach.
