With the strength of the Bayern team as well as players like Reus, Draxler and Mertersaker - I can't see past them. Obviously the 'no non South American team having ever won in South America thing comes in to it - as well as Brazil having not been beaten t home in many games makes it seem less likely I just can't see past them. I would love for Messi to crown his performances in the last few year by leaving Argentina to the final ala Maradona but somehow I just don't see it. How do you think will prevail come July? Would be nice to see Argentina win it for Messi, or Brazil just because they're the hosts and they are always so entertaining but i think the Germans will be too good and too tactically shrewd. Germany haven't won a major tournament for quite a long time now and they've been in very good positions so there'll be a wee bit of nerves there. They'll also probably struggle more than Spain in terms of the heat. I honestly don't know much about the South Americans but from what I've read Brazil just aren't good enough to be considered as a certainty - although they'll obviously have a massive chance.
