Can Liverpool win the league?

With only 10 games or so left in the league & Liverpool only 4 points behind the leaders you have to say their in there with a good shout. They have the best forwards on form in the league & if they stay fit, Liverpool have a chance. Their weakness is the defence, Toure & Skrtel have both cost the team points this season & how Skrtel hasn't gave away 2 or 3 penalties every game is just luck the way he hauls people down in the box. The full backs aren't too hot either.young Flannagan has done the best but cissoko at left back is a disaster, plus they need another two midfielders. A defensive mid & centre mid cause joe Allen ain't it. At least one winger is needed also if they want to compete on more than one front cause their starting11 is good & can compete with top teams but squad is light. I think its a bonus they are out of Europe & cups so they can solely focus on the league.

I didn't expect them to be anywhere near top 4, but they're there just now and look much stronger than the likes of Tottenham so I'd be surprised if they didn't stay there.

The league's a much bigger ask and if they won it, it would have to be considered the biggest shock in the league's history. Whilst the challenges of Chelsea and Man City aren't insurmountable by any means, I think those two have stronger squads and more experienced managers and thus are better equipped for a title run-in.

No, not very likely it'll happen this year, between Chelsea and City IMO. But bring in a few good players this summer and they might have a good chance next year

Don't think they will win it this year - if they can hang on to Suarez and sort their defence out then they are right up there! Still got a chance this year, not entirely convinced by Chelsea and City. Would love it to be Liverpool or Arsenal

Looking at their run-in, you'd say their tougher games are at home, especially since Man Utd look a shadow of their former selves.

If they are still in touch by the City game, I reckon they'd fancy themselves.

Southampton (A)
Man Utd (A)

Cardiff (A)

Sunderland (H)

Spurs (H)

West Ham (A)

Man City (H)

Norwich (A)

Chelsea (H)

Palace (A)

Newcastle (H)

You never know but surely they'll blow it one way or another. Would be nice to see them still in the race into the last few weeks. It's worth noting that the Man City game would move midweek later in the season if they beat Wigan in the FA Cup.

It's hard not to be looking at the top when only 4 points behind with Chelsea and Man City to come to Anfield. Think everyone at the club would take 4th right now but you just never know. :)

I doubt it very much, especially with Arsenal and City out of the European Cup this early. Liverpool's main advantage was free midweeks, given their slim squad at the moment.

Once Sakho and Leiva get back the defence will get better and even Enrique might improve the left back position as long as Flanagan gets kept at right back. In other words, once Johnson gets dropped.

Going to Old Trafford in a couple of weeks using my sister's season ticket. Wish me luck.

Everytime I've seen Flanagan he looks nowhere near good enough to be in a Top 4 team, I suppose every English side has at least one blatant weak link though these days

I'll give you a wave from the away end  ... on the plus side you could have plenty of legroom half of them will be banned for not buying cup tickets.

If you'd said that early in the season i'd have agreed with you but since the Merseyside derby in November onwards the lads been superb for me.
