~~~ Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 Celtic to hold a minutes silence at their next home game. A minute for every own goal he scored, that way Aberdeen fans should make it to the stadium in plenty of time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
1320Lichtie Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 Played his part in the famous 08 campaign. Will always love him for THAT goal. 'And the goalscorer for Scotland, number 8, Garrrrrrrryyyy Caldwellllll' Eta: after that goal I had to sit down in my seat at Hampden and not watch the rest of it, was that nervous Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SpoonTon Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Gary Caldwell suffered from that problem of being good enough that people think he was rubbish, because he played much of his career at a level that pushed the limit of his ability. Lesser players get off with such criticism because they're not so exposed to it. The truth is that we haven't had many defenders at all that were more capable than Caldwell over the last 15 years or so. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
