What's the story with this Mikael Mandron character?

And is there not a "war" between Scotland and Australia over some guy, a la the "war" over Burton O'Brien, which fortunately Scotland won when he chose South Africa?

Liam Bridcutt just moved to Sunderland, a good move providing he gets played and they stay up. Surely will be on strachans radar more,

Yeah, it'd be good to have another defensively minded EPL player to pick from. I take it it's just injury that's prevented him from getting more caps until now?

I read that first post and started getting excited that £8m man Caulker might be munching shortbread and dreaming of pulling on the dark blue. I then checked his Wiki page and found that he's been an English international at u-19, u-21, and now for the big team. Shite.

You forgot to mention that he has actually scored for the Full England side as well!!!

Felt the same way to be honest, but as was pointed out, until he actually plays a Competitive game for England i.e. a World Cup or Euro Qualifier then we can still pinch him!!!

To be honest, when a player has already decided he's English and played for them at all levels, picking them for Scotland doesn't sit well. We're a poor second choice for those players.
