King Kebab
Just do it and shut up Yeah, basically this. I'm not exactly happy with the idea that League One players are getting call-ups, but it's happening. And if I'm not mistaken Rhodes got his first call-up when Huddersfield were still in League One. Done, and you're welcome, ya moaning faced b*****ds!!!

Craig McCulloch Burley
Well finally, after getting sick of the spurious, false and downright stupid call up suggestions that are frequently made on here, I’ve decided to list up who we actually can call on in any future squads from players based in the top two tiers of English Football!!! This list is designed to be definitive, and although I am sure that there will be players who ply their trade in the English First and second Divisions who qualify, they can wait until either a better team signs them or they lift their current side up through the Leagues, until they can appear on this list, as personally I don’t care if they are the new Denis Law, Jim Baxter and Billy Bremner rolled into one, I am completely of the opinion that as good or as bad as we are, Scotland should not be selecting players outside of the Top two divisions!!! As I said, the list is intended to be definitive, so any transfers between these teams or from Scotland or even from the English lower Leagues and I’ll update the list. If there is anybody I miss, if somebody could bring it to my attention and again I’ll update the list!!! Again, if you think there is anybody I have missed out then post and let me know!!! I have included the players age and whether or not the have been capped or not previously and if so at what level!!! Paco
League One players are a bit like SPL players outwith Celtic really, they have to be truly outstanding to get a look in, or there has to be a raft of call-offs. In a first-pick squad how many SPL players would get in? Brown, Mulgrew and Forrest from Celtic. Who else? The likes of Fox, Armstrong, Mackay-Steven, Jack, Boyd, Samson, Hammell etc are merely cover. The facts are that 99 times out of 100, at this moment in time, if a player is good enough to play for Scotland he won't be playing in League One or for a 'smaller' SPL team. Edit: added 'at this moment in time' as I'm well aware we used to have Gordon, Pressley and Hartley come in from Hearts and start, Robson should've been starting while at Dundee United, etc.

Dryhorce
What about Caluker, McEachran, Gardner and Hooper? Caulker took a England cap, think that suggests that he is not interested in us. Saw no proof that Gardner can play for us anywhere apart from in here but nobody gives any sources for it. Hooper cant play for us been down that road and tried to get him before, turned out his Dad is English at least on paper. McEachran can play for us but is still deluded and thinks he is good enough for England I want guys that want to play for us,not guys that take us as there second option. When they discover that Barkley,Wiltshire,Chamberlin,Walcott,Milner, are all ahead of him for a start and plenty of others.
