BrianSwan
If both were dropped into the premier league with the added money and exposure would they be bigger than Spurs, Chelsea or even Arsenal and Liverpool? I hear a lot of Celtic fans say they would be as big as Man Utd eventually fan wise. Agree/ Disagree?

I hear a lot of Celtic fans say they would be as big as Man Utd eventually fan wise. Agree/ Disagree? We'd be nowhere near as big as United. Not even close. We would be in the mix with the rest though. Possibly Liverpool and Arsenal would be bigger. The sevs would be on a par with Newcastle and Everton or the like. Big club in their area, not much outwith that.
ICTChris
In all seriousness (SRSLY) Celtic have a fanbase where there are Scottish or Irish ex-pats, different to the 'global' fanbases of the top Premiership clubs. If Celtic went into the Premiership and did well it might grow but it isn't like big support and revenue that Liverpool and Man Utd get. But Celtic will not be moving to the Premiership so it's a moo point.

I hear a lot of Celtic fans say they would be as big as Man Utd eventually fan wise. Agree/ Disagree? I agree they would be and within 5 years time we would be genuine contenders for the CL cup....without a doubt. Even where we are now, we're no passengers but if Lenny were given the resources we'd be where we belong.....in that group as peers and not looked upon as whipping bhoys But Celtic will not be moving to the Premiership so it's a moo point. ^^Quivering with fear at the prospect^^
shuggierip
Nowhere near man utd, Liverpool or arsenal. Rangers possibly up there with chelsea, spurs and Everton. Celtic level with the likes of villa. With the fickle nature of fans, especially outwith the country where a club plays, Liverpool and Arsenal are on the way down imo. They are not as "big" as they once were. The likes of City and Chelsea have picked up a few due to recent success. It wont last. The second part of your post I'll give you a chortle for purely for attempting to fish on a Sunday afternoon.

Agreed although your club thought you'd get noticed elsewhere (I mean beyond Linwood) when you won that waste of time trophy last season

ICTChris
^^Quivering with fear at the prospect^^ Why would I be fearful of the prospect of Celtic joining the Premiership? It could be good for teams like mine but it isn't going to happen.
hoopy1967
Nobody gives a f**k anymore, we're not moving and never will to England. We're a Scottish club based in Scotland that plays in Scotland. Anyone who starts a thread like this again should be banned

Danny Lennon Another thicko who supports one half of the Old Firm. Is there any end to the lack of talented posters they produce? Edit: Apologies to Hoopy and Enrico....you're in the minority of decent ones. The extremely small minority.

You're predictable and not too bright and the Smurn posters on here seem to think that winning the League cup was the prelude to great years which it wasn't. As for those two being popular? Of course. They tell you what you want to hear and ridicule their own fans. Hellbhoy's the funniest though. He'd support Queen Park apparently the day we join the EPL and it will happen. The SP is utter sh**e but happy to stay there for a short time as long as we make inroad to the CL prior to leaving you to playing to empty standless middens. Calls me not too bright, makes a barely legible post littered with spelling and grammatical errors. How on Earth have you managed to get a profile of other forum users, seeing as you have only been here three days? Or, as we all suspect, are you yet another version of the numerous forgettable aliases of one of the obsessed Celtic element who keeps getting punted from here, yet returns time and again?
