No thread yet I see.

No idea how we'll line up, maybe he'll go with the same team from today to try and keep a bit of momentum going? Or maybe give some of the younger guys a chance, i.e Cooper, Glen and Klok? No idea..

Many County fans making the trip, can't see there being many of us to say the least  I'd have to take 2 days of work myself

We should be looking to win this, a cup run would be nice :D

Hope the clubs have agreed reduced prices for this one as there seems to be little interest in it and there will probably be few visiting fans.

Good result for County yesterday but we have to go for this one and treat it as our big chance to beat an SPFLPL (or whatever it is) side.

Unless there are some players families going I doubt the visiting support will reach double figures!

Impossible without taking time off work etc.

Saturday was much improved, but I think Adams will play a few of the fringe players, Maatsen, De Leeuw, Klok, Saunders, Mustafi maybe. With the regulars on the bench in case it starts looking dodgy.

I did look into going to this via the fabled Inverness - Belfast route, but the flights and ferry were clocking in at near £200 even before accomodation. I decided to spend a rather more reasonable £30 on train tickets to Edinburgh this Saturday instead.

I am not as nervous about this one as I was before the St Mirren result. Surely Adams won't risk a repeat of the Raith debacle from last season?

I'll be delighted with a one goal victory and no injuries or suspensions.

Fraser

Kovacevic Saunders McLean Micic

Brittain

Kettlewell Quinn

Maatsen Mustafi de Leeuw

That leaves five starters from Saturday, keeps the same system for the sake of familiarity and gives some competitive time for the front three.

The concern is the endurance of the middle three, who play such a pressing game that I wouldn't want to see them knackered for Hibs on Saturday. There aren't many obvious replacements apart from Marc Klok, who hasn't had a look in yet.

I looked at doing the Inverness-Belfast-Stranraer route again, but the flight between Belfast and Inverness doesn't go on a Wednesday - so that snookered that plan.

It so turned out that there are too many others on holiday this week in my office, so I wouldn't have got the two days off required anyway!

As for the game,

I'd play the same starting eleven as Saturday. Its the start of the season so there is no issues with tiredness in my mind - and anyway half of hat team on Saturday have hardly played games as yet.

Playing tem together will help gel them as a unit which can only help ahead of Saturday's game at Hibs

We should be looking at winning this game.

I was looking at stats last night of matches between the clubs and didn't realise Stranraer haven't beaten us since we were elected to the SFL (or SPFL as its know known)

Their only two wins were back in 1956 and 1957!

That must have been a camel trek to get to the games in those days!
