Lolz i remember when i had my first beer.

No doubt Linn will score as is the case with most ex Fife players on there return but i feel with the addition of Naysmith at the back we should have a decent chance of picking up three points.

Pat Clarke and Liam Buchanan up front please.

In our racing stripes, we rejoice at being "connected"
Without touching, thank god for the internet
We stare at our screens, all our lives, what a waste of eyes
'Till the electrical storm blows our fuses
And we gaze, dumbfounded, at the rain

Aye just started sprinting then looked like something just snapped in his ankle. His screams of 'its fucked' make me think it'll be a while before we see him again.

Shame. He looked decent when coming on against Ayr and was superb last week in Dunfermline.

Gaffer back out on the left then

First half was pretty much all East Fife and it really should of been 3-4 going into half time!  The man of the match for me was big Cedric Tuta who was completely unplayable. It Shows our strength in depth when we have Buchanan and Tuta up front with Pat Clarke, Fash and Christian Nade in the wings!

Thought we defended pretty well with Gary Naysmith strolling through the game along with Joe Mbu! Credit to the gaffer tho, after he signed Gary Thom there was a lot of head scratching but he's turned out to be a very solid acquisition.

It's great to see the young lads get a chance in the form of Ross Brown who again had a good game in the middle of the park!  One thing im struggling to understand is why the gaffer constantly picks Cyrus Moosari. I'm all for giving people a chance but from what I've seen he's just not good enough. Especially when we have McBride or Willis on the bench!  Aitchison must see something in him tho so we'll just have to see!

Ugly but a great 3 points!

Cedric Tuta must be the signing of the season. Agreed that we should have been out of sight by half time but Arbroath did well to re-group and give us a game after the break...

King Joffrey - Nice picture! Where did you take that?? :P

Crazy decisions today by the referee which spoiled a good game, although we played better with 10 men.   The inconsistency between referees in each game is unbelievable but today Scott hadn't committed one foul and he gets booked, yet Johnstone is on his 3rd or 4th when he brings down Scott on the edge of the box and still doesn't get booked!!

I hope Cookie is okay as he looked to be in real pain and he was tearing apart the East Fife defence.

East Fife are a lot better than last season, but not as good as I thought they would be.   Cedric Tuta was a threat on the deck but Travis had him in the air every time.

The best bit was Johnstone just committed his 4 th or 5th foul on halfway got a warning from Useless Cook, two seconds later dives in with his studs showing right on halfway and nothing. Then young Scott does one foul and the ref can t get his card out quick enough. Then Johnstone gives away the free-kick for our goal and still can t get a booking.Don t think Cook got the sending off for Hamilton right either as i think Johnny Lindsay was going for the ball aswell and Hamilton was nt last man, even though the East Fife player still got his shot away.Anyway we played well 2nd half with 12 v 10 and prob should have got a draw, even with the weird decisions by Barry Cook.On to next week, hopefully we can get the 2 or 3 signings we are needing.

The game was won and lost at the sending off of Hamilton, I really didn't think it was a sending off, a penalty yes!  EF number 6 and Tuta should have been booked early on, as the persistant fouling was beyond a joke.  All said and done once it was back to 10 v 10 I fancied our chances to get a point or 3, but using all the subs and Alan Cook getting carried off made it a near mission impossible!  Not our day...

Champions of Division 3 2010-2011, well chuffed! 1-1 draw at Celtic 2012 :-)

When is the last time YOUR team won at IBROX in the league verses the treble winners?!

To be called a idiot from other idiots is hardly an insult, it is just an observation from ones who know too little.

Thought the penalty and red card were fair from where I was but I'd like to see the replay. At that point we'd been by far the better team and really should have seen the game out comfortably but Arbroath played much better with 10 men and should probably be fairly agrreived not to have taken something.

Tuta looks a really good player and I think him and Buchanan will make a great partnership when they're both fully fit and have got used to each others game. Naysmith is a a great addition and sailed through the game so I'm pretty happy with the defence. The midfield does look the weakest part of the side and Atchison will probably have to do a bit of thinking to work out what's the best way to get the midfield a bit better. Thought Ross Brown had a great game and he looks like a really good player. Atchison is right, he should have been getting games last season, purely because he's clearly good enough to offer something to the side.

Good to get off the mark though and always nice to beat Arbroath.

What justifies it being a red card?

Denying a clear goalscoring oppertunity.

A penalty is a clear goalscoring opportunity. Ridiculous rule.

No he didn't, Johnstone gets his shot away, its also difficult to tell by that footage and the way Johnstone was falling over all afternoon if that was a a penalty.

No he felt the slightest bit of contact and exaggerated it.

I'd be pretty embaressed to have him as my club's captain tbh.

No, you wouldn't. If the roles were reveresed you would have thought it was a penalty and a sending off because that's what all the idiots that think everything goes against their team do.

 I'd have thought that was a soft penalty and red card if my team was benefiting or suffering from it. Glad you know me so well though.
