Understandably it's been largely overlooked that there's a game on Saturday by Pars fans as we've got far bigger things to worry about but are Airdrie fans really that apathetic towards their team ?

Also, I think we might win this one for a change.

Yes.

 Apathy - yes.

I'm going but I don't have a dog, do we have a gate for them to get in on their own?

Result, Airdrie still bottom of the table at 4.50pm

Any pubs in the town centre that would be OK for a couple of pints before the game? Last time we went to the one at the ground, which was probably the worst pre-match 'pub' I've ever been in - I'm maybe overly fussy, but I'd prefer somewhere that feels like a pub and has the luxury of draft beer!

Try the Staging Post or West End Bar.

There's also a Wetherspoons, which is OK if a bit predictable.

What are Pars fans planning on doing for away days now?  Going to Airdrie and spending money there to get behind the team or putting that money into the trust fund to make sure they have a side to watch next season instead?  Think I'd be in that second camp tbh.

All depends, sometimes the latter approach can come across as a frustrating one for fans of other teams. Of course, Pars fans need to help their club as much as they can.

But when Dundee fans said the same after they went into administration, a lot of fans decided they'd not be back to Dens in a while. I can remember some of their fans being interviewed outside Dens the week before we were due to play them. They were saying "Why should we care about Raith?". Rovers had done nothing wrong, it was their fans who'd bought into Melville's wreckless spending. Funnily enough, said game was postponed and rescheduled to a time where Dundee were 20 games into an unbeaten run and those fans had crawled back to the club.

^ Potentially.

I'm missing this tomorrow but to answer Hedgecutter, I can certainly see many fans saving their money to help the club, most definitely. I will as well but at the same time the players and manager, who have been absolutely fantastic throughout all of this, still need our support. So I'll definitely still attend away fixtures.

Though as far as results go, they don't overly matter in the grand scheme of things.

Game is irrelevant for us. Hope some of the Under 20's get some game time. Monday night at Carnegie Hall is the more important date in the diary.

Stephen Jordan, Andy Barrowman, Shaun Byrne and Josh Falkingham not fit. Andy Geggan and Jordan McMillan are suspended for this Saturday taking the tally to six of the first team squad unavailable. Andy Kirk however has trained all week.

So er, wtf?

Gallagher

Millen-Morris-Dowie-Drummond

Husband-Thomson-Kane-Cardle

Wallace-Kirk

Oaft, that's a weak team, I'm going to be honest, I think Kane is shit, similarly Kirk is pretty poor but seeing as they've had about 60% of their wages I'll not get on there back, at least they are playing, it's all you can ask for. Husband was our best player when he came on against Morton.

Based on some of JJ's comments I think we might see some of the guys who played well against Hibs this week getting some game time.

I reckon as far as Airdrie is concerned we've reached the stage where 95% of our fans attending are season ticket holders.  Even as a ticket holder I'm considering giving this game a miss.  Watching a team set out with little tactical plan, players and line up seemingly picked with a pin, and a manager unable to change things during the game is not providing any enjoyment.  Getting depressed while freezing my ass off just isn't my idea of a good Saturday afternoon's entertainment.

Considering our recent results and the fact the club may not even exist in a couple of weeks, I'm happy with today's result.
