First away league game of the season for me hopefully. Not really expecting much from this game but it'd be nice if we managed to avoid getting absolutely humiliated again.

Being the eternal optimist that I am, I'll go for 2-0 Queens.

We should allow a few fans to play in this. Lucky programme winners or something

Already happening, some guy called Mark Something says in the paper he's getting a game.

Hopefully Ayr will come out and have a go at us after winning their last away game 4-1.

We always do, that's not in any doubt. We'll probably even dominate for a bit and create a number of chances. We might even score. We'll hand you a couple of goals out of nothing, though, that much is sure.

This is probably a no-lose situation for us, anything is a bonus - which is a bit tragic.

Hope Ayr bring a decent travelling support, it would be nice to break the 2000 barrier or at least get close to it.

I agree but I fear the Scotland v Wales egg chasing will probably put paid to that thought. Scotland rugby matches on tv clashing with our home games tend to take a couple of hundred off the crowd.

No chance, you will see one of the smallest Ayr away supports in a long while.

Not on the wind-up. Sinclair is probably the most efficient midfielder we've seen since Stevenson, yet c***s like you and st. jude have hounded him out.

They shouldn't clash. Start them at 5:30 pm at least.

The Ayr support are boycotting Palmerston on Saturday because Queens are too good IMO.

I'm going with Ayr to be leading 2-0 in the 75th minute. Queens 3-2.

Skybet have 15/2 and I'm fairly sure other bookmakers have even better odds.

Did this false optimism not happen the last time Ayr came to Palmerston? Pretty sure it was 6/1 the bookies were offering on that occasion.

Ayr are 6/1 to win. Despite Queens season so far and us being fairly shite, probably still worth a punt.

Save your money for a pie and a pint then.  If no Ayr fans think they will win then it doesn't matter if the bookies are offering 50/1.

I'm not betting on it. I was telling the guy that there are better odds than what he was going to bet on.
