HibeeJibee
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/wales/18657940 With the end of hosting in Monaco next year's UEFA SuperCup is being played at Sparta Prague's Eden Stadion while 2014's is going to the Cardiff City stadium - it's part of UEFA's measures to take it to smaller modern stadiums in smaller cities. Should the Hibs board consider a bid in future?

qos_75
Yes, I think they should. I'm not sure how far down the leagues UEFA are prepared to go, but I hear one of the teams that will participate in the Scottish 3rd division next season have a cracking wee ground. It would be nice to see diddies geting a wee bit of glamour.
Cruoninga
People know where Prague and Cardiff are, Lochend, not so much. Most people don't have a clue of any small ponds next to the Cardiff and Prague grounds as well. They will know Edinburgh though. Easter Road would be big enough going by the attendances of the last three Super Cup matches in Monaco: 2011: 18.048 2010: 17.265 2009: 17.

Happy Hibee
Perfect idea. Would coincide with the Edinburgh festival and it would show the world that the capital doesn't just have shit holes for for football.
Whitswit
Totally agree they should go for it. Don't understand all those rolling their eyes. A very scottish trait that.
ArabianKnight
Definitely, why should they not? Be good to see an event like that in Scotland!
