kilsythblue Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Vale of Clyde 2 Kilsyth Rangers 2 ( Kilsyth win 4-1 on pens) An under strength Kilsyth side struggled to over come a very physical Vale team, some wonderful saves including a superb pen save by the Vale keeper gave them a platform in the game which they very nearly won. Leading 1-0 they missed a pen and were made to pay when Kilsyth equalised soon after. Despite this with 10 mins remaining they went in front again when Coulter headed in at the back post after a long throw in . Kilsyth pegged them back again after a fine header by Dolan from a in-swinging corner with 5 mins to go. The penalty shoot out was a one sided affair with Kilsyth scoring with their first 4 kicks and with vale only converting 1 there was no need for any more. Think Watson in the Camelon goal made one save in the entire game. Bring on the 'Ness!
