To play in the SPL?
any time I've watched these hillbillys..they just look to keep the score down and camp outside there box!
only time i've seen be more defensive was Rangers when they came to Parkhead in the scottish cup with a 5-4-1 last year

I'm sure they'd give cellic a game if they spunked £20+ Million on a better squad.
Oh wait.. They did that before didn't they and now they're rooked.

When did Dunfermline spend £20 mil on their playing squad?

Who gives a monkeys who boness sign. They quite simply will not pose any threat to linlithgow this season. We have taken a squad who finished three points adrift and improved it all round. Boness have taken a league winning side and ripped it apart on the back of one mans whims. Top 5 at best for boness this year
BU's unbeaten vs the Rose. 2011/12

Imagine going to a club with x9999 times the resources and defending, especially with so many injuries, being bottom of the league and having a terrible goal difference.
I've watched us win twice at Celtic Park and come away deserving a point quite a number of times. Back to school ya daft wee scroat.

And what about Celtic when they play away from home against vastly superior teams in Europe? I'm sure they play some lovely, attractive football and.......
Oh no wait. They always take massive rimmings every time. So shut up.

1st time I have ever seen a goalkeeper warned about time wasting in the first 15 minutes of a game that's how negative Dunfermline were last night, but in their position I don't really blame them for using those tactics although it reality only a good goalkeeping display and some terrible finishing from Celtic prevented a hammering.

Team bottom of the league in not trying to concede double figures shock.
They had no chance of a win so why not try their best to keep the score respectable.

Agree with recent posts... When a team with a much weaker squad than their opponent, and a lot less money travels to a tough away venue to face bigger and more illustrious opponents, they are bound to play defensively and try to keep it respectable... but enough about Rangers going to Inverness on Sunday, there's already a thread running...

We're a very defensive team now under Brown, which isn't really a surprise. Brown philosophy seems to be you start the game with a point and the main objective is not to lose that point. If we somehow manage to sneak a win then that is a bonus.
We needed to go back to basis after the disaster that was McGhee but hopefully come the summer we can move on the deadwood from the squad like Mackie and Paton and freshen things up from a creative/goal scoring point of view.

don't mind teams parking the bus, that's up to them. What I do hate is time wasting and the ref had to warn the Dunfermile keeper 14 minutes in to get a move on. Pathetic.
They are all Jeff Winter

I understand keeping the score respectable
but in the last 20 minutes various teams have had a go at us and been unlucky(Kilmarnock,Hearts,Inverness..Dunfermline earlier in season)
for last 20 mins if they had a go then who knows?to sit in for 90 minutes when your beat defeats the purpose of football

Why are Celtic fans always totally oblivious of the fact that other SPL teams barring Sregnar have only a fraction of a fraction of the resources Celtic have? They genuinely seem to believe other teams can match their level simply by trying harder. It's actually embarrassing for the Squirm that we match them as often as we do.
Have fun. I know I will.

Same sentiments when the glorious Sellick are getting their baws parted in Europe eh?
Get a feckin grip. You lot have the means to buy foreign duds that make a mockery of Scottish football. We're a provincial club with a local fan base where every penny is prisoner. Our club cannot afford the luxury like your ever illustrious club can.
