Ayr are shite but I can only hope the players don't take them too lightly like they did in the cup. With the way we're playing and presuming we keep our heads, we'll win comfortably.

We've not lost a game this season when we scored first, so what you want to do is get the first goal and then go behind before HT, also getting a player sent off when the game is pretty even might work, we've never won playing against a team that had players sent off when there was still everything to play for (Raith last week we were already 3-0 up and had a penalty awarded when they got a player red carded), Hamilton, Falkirk, QoS, Ross County, all draws when they had players sent off against us.

Don't think i've been as confident going into a game this season, on the back of 2 great wins and flowing football that's a joy to watch, can't see past a Livi win, could even be real doing for Ayr, can't see them being able to hold out the whole game, once we score we really go to town just now. Then again maybe their manager will find a way to counter Yogi's attacking style, if he doesn't then i really can't see us not getting at least 3 goals.

5-0 Livi. Mon the Lions.:bounce2
Morton 1-3 Livi / Falkirk 2-5 Livi / Partick th 2-3 Livi / Raith 0-3 Livi / QoS 0-4 Livi

Can we play away from home every week!!!!

If we play as well as we have done recently then I think we'll win this quite convincingly. If everyone's fit then we'll probably stick with the same team and the same 4-3-3 formation that brought us success over Partick and Raith.

Starting XI:
McNeil

Docherty – C. Barr – Watson – Talbot

Fox – Scougall – Kyle

Keaghan – McNulty – B. Barr

Subs: Jamieson, Fordyce, Cummings, Easton, Russell.

Prediction: 3-0 Livi, McNulty (x2) and Keaghan the scorers.

So that's it then, Ayr will score first, Livi will equalise just before HT, Ayr will then get a man sent off and they'll get the winner just before FT. Cheers ya jinx, gonny no bother going. Yer burd will want you there right enough, she's a martyr with masochistic tendancies.

Dinny blame you, when you can watch it on LIVItv for free. In the meantime you can watch us stick 4 past Raith from last week: http://www.livingsto...o.uk/livitv.php :thumsup2

If we can keep a clean sheet we have every chance of winning with a break away goal around 70mins. keep it tight and we will win this one

Oh dear, what were the Raith defence doing for those goals, looked as if it should've been a lot more as well.

Poor defending by Raith.

Some good stuff by Livi, that could've been 7 or 8 nil. Raith's No5 had a 'mare.

Having just watched the highlights there, its' apparent that Livi play some nice, free flowing football. They have a couple of really fast players who move the ball about nicely. I fear for Ayr. Davie Mgurn played pretty well in the Raith Game and it was still 4. Ayr arn't the fastest of teams and are very defensive. I think they might get a new arse ripped for them.
Also noted that there was a health Raith support there, the same can't be said for the Livi crowd. Boring c***s.

Twice in our case, though both times were very late in the game. The first time Reid was sent off for arguing about the penalty you'd just been given to level in the last minute. The second time it was already 2-2 and there was about five minutes to go.

Other than beating Killie or the Old Firm, I thoroughly enjoy watching Ayr United dispatch the complete and utter irrelevance that is 'Livi'. Will you be bringing down a bumper crowd ? following your Catalan destruction of a piss-poor Raith Team..............

Any news on whether or not the bongo bus is coming down?

Gonna stick my neck out here and say 3-1 Ayr. (very optimistic I know)

Not sure what the extent is of Robbo's knock but hopefully he'll be fighting fit for Saturday.

He could barely run when he came off on Tuesday so i reckon he'll be struggling. Tiff will be back though right? I reckon we should be okay with a back four of Tiff Malone Smith Dodd. Obviously i'd rather see Dodd on the wing as The Moff is god awful there but needs must. The key to our success on Tues was the work of Geggan and Thomsett, so as long as we keep them in the middle of the park we'll be alright. I'd like to see McGowan dropped as he's absolutely rank. But we don't really have anyone else. I'd be tempted to throw Shankland in as he simply can't be worse than McGowan.

.....and potentially better.

The complete folly of dropping Armstrong, out the picture all together, is starting to become apparent. Where is Stuart Duff these days ?
