Not sure if this has been posted anywhere else; but assuming Harry Redknapp gets the England job; would Joe Jordan follow him?
Or would he end up getting the Spurs job?

In Tartan Army section.
No chance Joe Jordan would be offered Spurs job full time.
As for England capacity, would be a shame if he went, but you could understand as everyone has to make a living.

He's already been an international no. 2 and it didn't work out, so would be surprised if he followed Redknapp to the England job, if he takes it.
(JJ was no. 2 to the disastrous Lawrie McMenemy at Northern Ireland, at the end of the 90s)

David Moyes is favourite for the Spurs job should Redknapp gets the England job. Couldn't imagine Jordan in an England role but it may well happen as Redknapp has got a good backroom staff at Spurs, along with Jordan,Kevin Bond also. Redknapp may not want to break it up.

I wouldn't mind if Jordan goes to the England job.
Be quite happy for him if anything.

Why would anyone have a problem with Joe jordan being Number 2 in the England set up?
You'd have to be some sort of brain dead xenophobic bigot with an exceptionally large chip on your shoulder to have any sort of problem.

If Redknapp goes he will probably take over the spurs job temporarily and if he impresses then would be offered the job. That is the only way he will get it I feel.

Who gives a monkeys who boness sign. They quite simply will not pose any threat to linlithgow this season. We have taken a squad who finished three points adrift and improved it all round. He'd have to be a bit of a cuunt not to take it if offered because he's Scottish.

Did anyone care when John Gorman was England's number two? I certainly would take it if offered.
You will retire me, but Iniesta will retire us both.

They might have if John Gorman wasn't a total and utter non-entity...

I wouldn't care if he went, I'm past the whole thing, but I doubt he would go.

What if Alex Ferguson took the manager's job? Would your feelings change?

Pretty much the same, but he won't take it - I wouldn't be suprised if he had been sounded out at one time or another. I honestly couldn't care less about who the latest hate figure is down south, I would rather concentrate on my team and Scotland.

Spurs fans will pray Jordan doesn't get their job. Unless, that is, they wish to cease playing entertaining football. I remember his reign at Tynecastle, his tactics were boring as fcuk.

I think those of us in the older generation who associate Big Joe with the Scotland team at a time when we had some quality players will be a wee bit annoyed if he takes the job. Big Joe epitomised Scotland at the time, snarling and sniping, kicking and lunging, at everything that moved. He was the one we wanted up front against England.
I know his attitude towards those games was on a par with the fans and that was what we loved about him, it's also why I find it hard to believe he would take the job, and why I'll find it hard to accept if he does.

They tell me it's a minority, but I've been there, I know better.

I'd say Spurs should offer him the job if 'arry goes.
Presumably Redknapp had little input to training and tactics and set up of the Spurs side for the Newcastle game due to the court antics last week, so if that's what Jordan and the other back room guys at Spurs can do without him, then surely they've gotta offer Jordan a shot at it.
