Can men be bothered? Do women expect the works? flowers chocs etc.

Do you have a favorite method of wooing? or do you fall into the stereotype of the "that'll do" romantic, doing just enough to please.

Valentine's Day is a load of bollocks.

I spend 364/5 days a year worshipping my wife, why should February 14 be "special"?

I've splashed out on a new ironing board cover. She'll be like putty in my hands, the way she was when I got her a new set of screwdrivers.

Valentines are for folk who fancy someone, not for folk who are stuck with each other forever.

Basically.

The only guys who buy valentines cards for their wife are trying to get their Nat King but trying to pretend that they're being romantic. No-one is fooled.
Let us not be down-hearted. One total catastrophe like this is just the beginning!

I would have used the quotes on worshipping instead of special......... However, I am impressed by your statistics.....;)

My girlfriend was supposed to be going to a work conference on Valentines day, where she gets free food and drink for the evening. She turned it down expecting we would be doing something together. She was quite disappointed when I told her I was going to watch Brechin vs Arbroath and now all the spaces at the conference/piss up have been taken. She really should learn to check fixture lists before making any plans, it's her own fault really!

Speaking for myself, no. It's the very definition of Hallmark Holiday and I fail to see the point. Load of nonsense.

Usually there's sad lonely women desperate for love at the pubs and clubs so I normally try and finger one or two.

I've gambled by saying you can't be arsed getting a present and nor can I, how about going away for the weekend afterwards and putting the money towards a nights accomodation. Stirling away it is. If she loves me, she'll happily oblige.
